It's still ducking, dude. As soon as a fighter has something to lose, suddenly it's all about protecting his brand and avoiding the real challenges that could take it all away. Boxing :verysad
A few weeks ago I read about Lemieux saying that he wants Golovkin NEXT. Today, Loefler retwitted Oscar's twit from February saying let's do Lemieux vs GGG THIS YEAR. Now, both Lemieux and DLH are backtracking. Typical ducking.
Froch, Cotto, Canelo, Lemieux, Quillin, Jackobs are clearly ducking. Lee has mandatory defence (a winner will start ducking after that). Who else is there at MW ? Who else is there with money ?
Why are you listing those names separately? I'll save you time "Everyone is ducking GGG from 154-168" The end. Of course, this applies in only GGG****ia.
Good thing there are a few boxers out there who value proving themselves over protecting themselves. They make this sport worth watching.
Who exactly are you referring to? I'm not saying there aren't any, but they are an exceedingly rare breed. Almost every fighter, at some point or another, makes strategic decisions that involve risk/reward considerations. Every fighter manages his career one way or another, and there are always decisions made to help maximize profits while minimizing risk to project longevity. What active fighter hasn't ever once made a deliberate career choice that helped protect himself and his interests?
Triple G Turds amuse me. Lemieux and his team want to maximize his earnings but they are fine with their hero doing the same thing fighting tomato cans his entire career. If you were fighting for a living you'd do exactly the same thing if you had any brains.
GGG doesn't want "everyone". He wants top middleweights or people from 154/168 with money, and yes, all fighters from these two categories are ducking him. Produce one example who doesn't.
