There has been some really tasteless trash talk.

Ricardo Mayorga said something to the extent of promising to re-unite Cory Spinks with his dead mother.

According to Lou Dibella, Bernard Hopkins said before fighting Jermaine Taylor, that after the fight Dibella would kill himself, and said to Lou "you know about suicide right?". Lou's brother killed himself.

Livingstone Bramble called Ray Mancini a "murderer" in reference to the Duk Koo Kim tragedy. They became friends later and Bramble would go to Ray's fights to support him.

 

****, i really dislike hopkins the person and that's just icing on the cake.

 

And people have the nerves to ***** about Floyd trash talking!!

 

At the end of the dat Margarito and Rios can say whatever they want. They have the right to do so. But, what it does show is that these are not guys who carry themselves well and respect the sport. Margarito proved he did not entirely respect the sport but using loaded gloves or at least attempting to. then, he makes fun of an illness that was likely the result of taking punishment in the ring. he showed disrespect not only to Roach, but toany former professional fighters that suffer from some for of brain damage. Again, I dont think THAT was diliberate or that most ex-fighters were truly offended. It just show poor charecter on Tonys part. Thats about it. Hes just not a ckassy guy imo and neither is Rios. Rios never came off as a class act anyways so thats not surprising.

 

They were ****ing laughing as they were mocking Roach. Does that not suggest to you it was in the context of a joke? Geez, it's as obvious as day and night. Wise up. Dan Rafael gets called fat because well, he IS fat and people laugh at him because of the way he is. Margarito jokingly stutters and shakes his head because that's what Roach does. Same logic. You're not very convincing with your argument.

Two wrongs don't make a right. But again, heckling is fair game. Margarito is a fighter. If someone is going to throw a verbal jab at him then he's going to come back with his own offense. I work as a teacher and I absolutely would NOT tolerate this kind of behavior in my class. But needless to say an athlete's locker room is entirely different than a school classroom. YES, it is ****ed up and it is mean. However these guys hurt each other for a living. Whether it's physical or emotional it's fair game.

 

The truly sad thing is that Margarito's style and terrible defense, getting hit so many times in the head by so many fighters, he will probably end up like Freddie Roach.

who knows, but I wouldnt wish it on anyone. My aunt has it very bad and has suffered with it most her life. Seeing its effects first hand it is awful. Having total control of your mind and little control of your body is something that nobody should have to live with and the people that do live with it are incredibly tough and deserve respect. that said I have never met a parkinsons sufferer that wanted any kind of sympathy, but joking about it probably wouldnt be appreciated either. But again, Margarito and Rios and do and say as they please. thats their struggle.

 

I dont like Roach or Pac but thats sickening stuff.

Have some respect, its not like he is the only sufferer of Parkinsons, have they no respect for Ali? or anyone else?

I wanted Margarito to win till i saw that, now i hope Pac takes him apart, then a rematch with Cotto is made and Cotto ****s him up, ive wanted that for ages, Cotto's revenge!
