Actually, not to defend the action.......but Joe Frazier was the brunt of many Ali taunts......and if you saw a recent documentary of Joe Frazier on HBO, Frazier finds enjoyment in the condition Ali finds himself in......

.......to Frazier its like he's saying, "payback, who's living life now."





......let me add however that Joe Frazier did not go the Brandon Rios route, thank goodness.
He only finds satisfaction to see the condition that Ali is in today, and he credits the fights with him that put Ali in that condition.
.....nowhere does Frazier do an imitation of Ali shaking, as that action could be taken as a slap in the face to all who have Parkinson.

 

It's pretty obvious that Margarito, Rios and others in that Gym lack Class... it doesn't get much worse than what they were saying about Roach.. The Greatest Ever suffers from the same very disease, as well as many retired boxers and non boxers. Millions of people suffer from Parkinsons... they are like ****ing stupid teenagers.

Roach had every right to say what he did say... Margarito making fun of the whole plaster situation is despicable ... I wish he wasn't get paid at all, but at least we get to see him knocked out by a guy half his size.

Sure and the fact Margarito is Mexican has nothing to do with your stance right?
What has Roach said about Margarito or his team that compares to mocking Parkinsons disease?

If Mannys wife was raped and murdered and Margarito started mocking him for it in the press conference, you'd find a way to defend it and say it was selling the fight or "giving it back" just because Margarito is Mexican.

Anyway he can mock someones debilitating illness all he likes, because it wont be Roach facing him in the ring, it will be someone who is going to beat the living **** out of him.

 

i think we have to take into consideration that these are FIGHTERS, not publicity trained celebrities or politicians.
we can pretty much throw sensitivity out the window.
plus, its a ppv event, and im quite sure they both want to hype this fite.
with that being said, rios and marg are acting like assholes. but hey, athletes are prone to talkin ish. oh well, maybe the marg camp gets their comeuppance very soon.
