TEAM MARTINEZ: If WARD Comes Down To 160, We'll Fight Him!!!

    Team Martinez said that Sergio will fight Ward at 160. 160 or nothing at all. No catchweights. Ward should totally do it. He made Chad Dawson come down and busted him up. Now Ward should go down one weight and take on Sergio. A win would be MASSIVE and show that unlike Chad, he can go down one division and beat the main guy.

    Team Martinez also said that they'd fight anyone at 154, and Mayweather and Pacquiao at 152.

    I feel like Martinez could probably get another million payday with Andre Ward, not to mention cement his legacy. I think he should be willing to go to 162 to make this happen.

    I bet that Sergio would have to go to Oakland if Ward went down to 160.

    Dawson challenged Ward on national TV after the Hopkins rematch @ 168. Saying he could make the weight easy. :patsch

    Money blinded him. But being drained, and KO'd during sparring, definitely helped Ward. Dawson had ZERO punch resistance.

    Chad realized maybe he couldn't make 168, so he asked for 170, and Ward said no, so yes, Ward made him come down to 168.

    Ward has never expressed a desire to go down in weight and fight for Sergio's belts. Martinez accepting a challenge from Ward would be one thing, but asking for Ward is another.

    He needs to focus on Saturday, not try to line up his next pay day.
