BoxScene caught up with renown boxing agent Sampson Lewkowicz at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas where his fighter Michael Katsidis will face Robert Guerrero on Saturday evening on the televised undercard of the Erik Morales-Marcos Maidana main event. *********** wanted to get Lewkowicz's opinion on his fighter Lucas Matthysse's (28-1) upcoming fight versus former junior welterweight champion Devon Alexander (21-1). The fight is set to take place on June 25th and will be televised on HBO. Alexander's hometown of St. Louis and Las Vegas are in the running to host the event."It is a great fight for Lucas, He will win by knockout,That i am sure of.Lewkowicz told the scene. Lewkowicz feels that the heavy handed Argentinian will be to much for the American fighter,Alexander will not be able to withstand the constant pressure that his fighter will apply."" I will tell you this, and please include this in your story,"said a smiling Lewkowicz. "By the third round Devon Alexander will pee in his pants".....................................................THE MAN IS RIGHT,I THINK MATTYSSE'S KNOCK DEVON OUT!!!:dead
Boxing skills confused Alexander more than punches, though he did not react very good when was caught flush. Devon is still very fast behind the 1-2 and the style is in his favor here, though Matthysse is a nice boxer-puncher with the kind of power that can push that mental button. Once he lost control, all the confidence gone both vs. Bradley and Kotelnik. He badly needs a statement here.
