Canelo going down to 147 would be BS. Mayweather should look to unify WW and JWW and go out with that in his legacy. That he left the game unifying WW and JWW at the same damn time.

Personally I think no catch weight but a re hydration clause of 10 pds would be fair. I don't see the need for Canelo to have to hydrate more then that performance wise. Mayweather since he probably won't look to carry the weight will probably look to weigh 148 on fight night anyway to stay comfy.

If Mayweather was a middleweight and weighed around 160. Would you guys hold the same stance for Canelo to move up and take on Mayweather or would you guys be asking Mayweather to move down?

sure, he fought a prime corrales, castillo and a near-prime dlh. perhaps he knew that mosely was on the juice and would be a different fighter off of it but i still give him credit for that win.

those fights do not give him a case for being the greatest fighter ever let alone in this era(hopkins resume shits all over floyds).

    agreed, larry.

a duck of epic proportions against a fighter that couldnt hold the jock strap of a prime tito, vargas, dlh, winky or Norris.

    ducking canleo alvarez.

what a ****ing joke coming from the self-proclaimed greatest ever.

Oscar's chin and underrated power got him through the Vargas fight, not being bigger

    prime Judah?

the same Judah who lost to baldomir and had already been ko'd(very few fighters are ever the same after being ko'd) and is a confimed jww(his only win at 147 is against a drunk corey spinks)?

Ortiz who again had been previously ko'd? at 140?

hatton, who looked like garbage in his only other fight at 147 against journeyman collazo?

jmm, who had to skip two weight classes to fight Floyd?

im not denying the skillset of Floyd(mayweather over canelo will be my biggest bet ever) im denying him saying that hes the best ever when there are a plethora of good fights for him to make.

for the last time...its fukcing canelo alvarez were talking about here not terry Norris, Trinidad, srl, hitman or prime Fernando vargas.

****ing floyd ducking canelo????? after that paq garbage when jmm had no problems fighting paq with or without tests?

hitman wouldn't even need to train for this fight.

he would just knock canelo out like any of the other aforementioned fighters.

You're one trick pony, and as you know I've never been impressed by the trick. Now Floyd made a total mockery of it, and your ESB existence with it. Surprised you're back with this account already. Actually who knows, you may be pushing an alt, but as long as the butthurt is suppressed, nobody is gonna notice.

Oscar was not bigger than Vargas thats insane to even suggest that, Vargas balloons up to 170 plus himself after the weigh in.

DLH though I am sure he puts on weight it isnt likely as much as Vargas did.
Oscars skills won him the fight not his size not his power but his skills, yes he has a good chin no doubt that too carried him.

But that was a master piece boxing performance there in which he fought very smart used his jab boxed early picked apart discouraged and stopped Vargas.

he set up that finish, and I believe to this very day that was his best performance and pobably his most meaningful win of his career considering the surrounding circumstances of the fight.

you could clearly see who the bigger man was in that fight once Vargas had Oscar trapped and started to work

well, instead of going by mouth i would prefer to go with facts.

dlh taller with the bigger calves, thighs, chest, forearm, reach and height.

vargas with a .25" bigger bicep and .5" neck.

    yeah, vargas was bigger.

    whatever you say, bazooka.

    a whole .25" bigger bicep.

dlh grew nicely into 154 to anyone whose follows boxing.

Is that a post-fight report where Vargas was juiced to the gills?
