He should have done that two years ago. Now Shane and Pac are the only ones worth fighting at 147. The others have been "knocked off" by Shane and Pac.

unless he wants all the belts, id say after mosley go for manny.after that the rest dont mean ****.he would just be fighting for money.his legacy is sealed after this yr if he fights mosley and manny.id like to see him fight paul, only after he beat kelly and was mw champ.id like to see mayweather fight the mw champ but thats asking a bit much i guess.

apart from pac & shane who else is their for him to fight ? if he beats them 2 then everyone else would be a given for PBF

he can retire a true ATG if he takes them 2 out

Absolutely. Mosely's been getting even older and more inactive, the formerly very dangerous (to PBF's '0') Cotto is now damaged goods and Williams is no longer a welter. Despite what Ellerbe says, it appears the Shane fight has been forced upon Floyd. And as for knocking off "all the top welterweights", why exactly was Matthew Hatton contacted while PBF-Pac negotiations were still ongoing? Or was this just a vicious rumour?

:lol::lol::lol:That is certainly possible now that Williams and Margarito are out of the picture at 147 lbs, two fighters that stylistically had legit advantages over Mayweathers style of fighthing.
........funny that team Mayweather did'nt shout those words when these two were threats to him!:yep

When a nightmare style issues fighter emerges upon the scene at Mayweather's weight, he'll announce his retirement, and thats a fact!:deal:lol:

following Mayweather's patterns, Ellerbe should be specific. I mean JMM became a welterweight. Who's next? Donaire? Arce? Calderon?

All jokes aside, I would love to see this happen. Pacquiao is just cruising right now in the same division he's in and I want a collision between the two.

Mosley is probably the hardest test for Floyd since stepping up in the WW division.

Like it or not Cotto isnt relevant now because he lost. If he beats Clottey thats someone else to the back of the line.

cotto hasnt been relevant since he got his ass handed to him by margarito and got a gift against clottey.

last i checked Cotto has a W over Clottey. If Cotto had not fought Pacquiao id be calling for Mayweather to fight Cotto as well. NOW? of course not.
