    From "The Scene".

"Team Khan" says Peterson priced himself out...Now McCloskey saying their offer was a JOKE!!!! So who do "we" believe: KHAN OR MCCLOSKEY?

Well, we wait for all the details to come out before we make a judgment, obviously . . .

  3. I would like to see how much he offered. The most logical choice at this moment would be prescott.

Don’t know about you, Darryl, but I’m choosing to look at the numbers should they reveal them, and believe my own judgement.

Maidana said the same thing before the Malignaggi fight , and then said that he signed the fight for a lot less than he wanted , McCloskey would have settled for a moderate payday , so the offer must of been bad !!!

I like Khan but him and GB are really doing there best to portray themselves and himself as the selling product as a world class elite level fighter , and he's just about half way there IMO , this doesnt bode well and is underlining the fact that Khan has too much of a high opinion of himself as do Golden Boy , he has no God given right to be earning 6 figures for every fight , and thats clearly the bench mark for Khan's purses

Khan's team trying to do it on the cheap, no ones going to sell their undefeated record for small money, they want a payday for a hard fight that may take away their reputation/status.

However I'm sure Prescott will take small money because he has no other options

GBP is seriously trying to save money. Everyone's talking about people pricing themselves out or asking for too much. **** dude.

People here saying Khan is selling Paul cheap, so I assume the actual figures have been revealed? What were they?

Khan has a minimal guarantee, HBO isn't involved and the PPV won't do very big so I think Team Khan's hands are tied, but Golden Boy could easily throw another 100k in. I'm sure they can work it out but I'd prefer Peterson.

Thank goodness the fight was a joke.

Forget the april date and let's just hype up a super match in june with the winner of alexander/bradley. With 24/7, faceoff and the rest of the works. Fight is before ramadan and both will be able to get another fight by the end of the year. Fans rejoice. Everyone is a winner. Great for he sport boxing.

Khan should fight Prescott just to put the demons to bed. McCloskey would be a poor fight with no value in the US. Ortiz should be the fight, if any, that is the warm up fight. For some reason he's still ranked #2 by the WBA and is much more of a name in the US.
