Team Mosley refusing to reschedule the Zab Judah fight is stupid - or is it just me?

    Do you agree?

I mean, yep, Judah hurt his hands and that's pretty bad. But it's just a matter of few weeks or less (Kelly Pavlik's "100+ stitches" took only a few days to heal - he was back in the gym in notime!) and suddenly they are not interested in rescheduling this exciting fight? Team Mosley's argument that they don't want to be part of another situation like this. But what the hell are they talking about? It was a very bad and quite unusual accident (slipping in the shower) and I doubt Judah did in on purpose. If that's the best excuse Team Mosley can get that's pretty poor IMO... :think

The next news is this Mosley-Mayorga, Campbell-Marquez October double-header on PPV. Since there's little chance that the second fight will ever happen and Mayorga was absolutely destroyed by Tito and Oscar, it's just not THAT exciting for a big PPV show. I understand that Mayorga is as big to bring PPVs as Judah - or even bigger - but we still know that Judah can make Mosley fight a far more exciting fight.

And this October thing... :huh Since they are not waiting on Judah to get back in the gym (1 to 3 weeks IMO), how the hell GBP can't find a date in the next few months for Shane? No dates between May and half a year later? I understand that a summer PPV card would not bring as many buys as one in the fall, but then that's pure BS to make any Mosley fight 5 months later only because of 13.000+ buys...

What do you think of this nonsense? I say: bring back Zab!

It is stupid, but it should let us all know that Mosley is about to start shutting it down, which is a good thing when you listen to how he talks now.

Mosley wants to move on to bigger and better. I think he's trying to angle his way into a title fight with Quintana. Of course, I think he'd ideally still like a crack at Floyd, and it might just happen, still.

Its not stupid ... Mosley is trying to get on the comeback trail and doesn't need to wait for Judah. By the time Judah is ready ... Mosley could be scheduled for his second fight already.

The problem is that they're probably not convinced that Judah is gonna keep his word and show up for the fight if they reschedule and at Mosley's age he doesn't wanna waste time waiting for a guy when there are plenty of good fighters to fight at WW.

None of this should fall on Mosley. Zab is the one that ****ed this up with his so called "slip in the shower." Judah can't train, he said he can't even throw a jab, yet he's going to be ready 2 weeks later? All bull**** with built-in excuses. You know after Judah lost he would just go on and on about his arm and how he couldn't train properly.

Like I said a couple of days ago, it probably has to do with Oscar's new partnership with mega arena owner AEG steering the fight away from Mandalay Bay. I'd do the same thing if my new partner was Anschutz but I would have Mosley fight Clottey or Margarito but Oscar probably hates Margarito so that wont happen

As I've said, Pavlik's injury was healed in just a few days. And the injury still not prevents Judah to do some running maybe after a couple of days... So by the time Judah is ready... is late June, early July... so what's the problem rescheduling it for mid-summer?

    better than that:

What's the problem rescheduling this fight for October?

Mosley wants it to be PPV...Zab wants it on HBO.

I think that's where the difference will lie. I don't think it's date as much as it's about how it'll be broadcasted.
