You are right, I am wrong. I got the fight time, and the weigh in time confused. The fight is at 10 P.M. ET tomorrow, the weigh in is at 3 P.M. ET today, thank you for correcting me.
Right on :good Yeah, to have Rigo - Donaire, Canelo - Trout, and Mayweather - Guerrero in less than a month's timespan is a great month for boxing.
Canelo was 153.5, Trout was 153.25 Trout looked good, my only concern is that he was already on weight a few days ago, hopefully he didn't overtrain and/or peak too early. However, I am not too worried, as I think he probably is just one of those guys who stays in great shape all the time. He really isn't as big as people think anyway, he has a build like Margarito, very lanky.
I don't really know who's gonna win in Trout and Alvarez but I'm hoping Alvarez. Not because I dislike Trout but can you imagine in a year or so the top pound for pound boxers being Trout, Rigondeaux and Ward. Boxing will probably stop being televised period.
Trout can be just as marketable if he had anywhere near the push Canelo is getting. He is a likeable guy, has charisma, he could become one of the "good guys" of boxing. Broner will only keep becoming a larger draw, he makes a good villain, people will be paying in the hopes he gets his ass kicked, alot like Mayweather. Rigo and Ward, yeah not gonna draw huge numbers...
