As many know, both sides have made some unusual requests. Mayweather has requested olympic style testing while Pacquiao has requested that Mayweather pay a $10 mill penalty for every lb. or fraction of a lb. Mayweather comes in over the limit. I think both requests are a bit outlandish, but both parties agreed to eachother's requests.

Now out of nowhere, Pacquiao claims he doesn't want to be blood tested. His reasoning is downright pathetic. He says he will only be tested well before or after the fight. He further claims the blood test will mentally affect him. Now I know most on here will side with Pac no mattter what he says or does. However, any objective person would question his actions. He has been accused of juicing and now he is backing out of his agreement to be blood tested. Not only is he backing out, but his reasoning is nonsensical.

If we look at this fight, Arum wanted a 50-50 split and he got it, Pac wanted 8 oz. gloves and they got it, Pac wanted to fight in March and that's when the fight is happening, Pac wanted to fight in Vegas(as did Floyd) and the fight is in Vegas. Pac wanted Mayweather to pay an obscene amount of money for going over weight and Mayweather agreed. Mayweather made three requests; he wanted the fight in Vegas(as did Pac), he wanted no catchweight(they are fighting for Pac's WW title) and he wanted the olympic drug test. Pac agreeed to this and then backed out and gave a crap reason for doing so.

Again, I know most of you will agree with Pac, but why? Why has Mayweather agreed to all of his requests only for Pac to back out of one agreed request by Mayweather? Why is it acceptable for Pac to back out of the test because he claims he will be mentally affected by needles? If I were Mayweather, I would fight him anyway. However, I would bring up the issue during every interview that I did. I would make sure everyone knew all about the stunt Pacquiao pulled. The cloud of suspicion over Pacquiao would grow strong.

Good for you, you wouldn't want to hurt your pea sized brain by reading too much anyway.

I agree. This looks bad on Pac's part and there's really no way you can spin it. Agree to the test and put it behind you. PBF has been very accomodating in this process with the other demands.

I guess you are just too used to giving in to any type of request.... you think that is normal. Hey, it's not. Welcome to the sunshine....

Floyd needs Pac, that's why he accepts gloves, date, split, etc. He didn't turn down blood testing, he just doesn't want it to be done so close to the fight. Why is this causing 5+ threads?

Looks bad to whom? Floyd fanboys? Yeah, Floyd has been SOO accomodating that he needs a pointless test becuase his daddy's brain is ****ed... And this will not make Pac look bad at all, since it was baseless to begin with.

Had he filed a test before, then he would look bad. But he hasn't, and thankfully thegeneral public would probably side with him.

You don't give to every whim of a paranoid ****.

Lance, you think it's perfectly normal to agree to the drug test and then back out because you claim you will be mentally affected by needles? Now if Pac said from the get go that the request was bull**** and he wasn't going to agree, I would understand that. However, that's not what happened. He originally said yes, backed out, and gave a half ass reason for doing so. Now if you agree that it's ok for him to renig on a deal because he claims he's afraid of needles than just say so.

Don't matter to me and isn't the point. Pac said he WOULD do the test (talk about that why don't ya), just not when the crackheads say jump.

Lance, what is the point of a random drug testing when one fighter can decide when he wants to be tested? Do you not realize how easily he can manipulate the test if he only has to be tested months before the fight? Why would he even say something like that? What if a baseball player said he would be willing to be tested but only when said it was ok?

Is there relly a 10 million pentley for every pound zmaywesther is over the limitit? The fight is at 147. Corectt me if I'm wrong about that. Mayweather has weighed in at or above 147 in 2 of his bouts. Also if the drug testing is a way for Mayweather to get out of the fight than all Pacquiao has to do is call his bluff and agree to the tests. Yes I agree that Pacquiao and his team are not handling things well at all.

Pac also said he spoke to GOD. That is scary/borderline looney tunes. So I can understand where he may be coming from with his reasoning for not wanting blood drawn. Not saying its legit or I agree with it, just say I can better understand it from someone who said they spoke to GOD and may be more "spiritual" and less "rationale".
