Also, he was supposedly trying to cut the expenses. He mentioned limiting Roach's pay or even firing him (a ******ed move) but he was also talking about limiting the number of the leeches in the training camp. No wonder they don't like him.

The training for this fight looks to have been a cluster**** from the 24/7 episodes seen so far and this guy Koncz seems to be sneaky little rat. The warning signs are all there that Team Pacquiao is fallling apart.

 

I understand he's on Arum's payroll, not Manny's.

 

Yeah and I got to say other then Mayweather (who pretty much has the exact style, mental poise and skill set to beat pac) Cotto just just about the worst dude ever to lose your **** against.

 

where have you heard that from? Cause the way he was talking in the last episode it sounded like manny pays him.

 

he seems like a tool either way.. maybe Manny takes pity on him..

 

There was an article way back when Top Rank and Golden Boy both were trying to sign Manny, and I remember this was according to Roach himself, that to get Manny, Arum sent Koncz to stay in Manny's house in his hometown and sleep in the living room or something. Even then Roach already knows who this guy was and was saying he was a shady character.

 

I don't see how. Like PBF siad Manny has a bad deal with Arum. Arum gets 27% of the gross off the top. Golden Boy gets 5% off the top. That is 32% of his pay check gone before taxes. No telling what percent Koncz is getting. Doesn't Manny have another 'manager/advisor' also? He is getting robbed. He has the star status to be self promoted and not be giving away his money to people who do nothing.

 

i hope manny fires bob arum "the scum" and find a better deal else where, am pretty sure with his rep he could be a partner of GBP.

 

Manny loves the attention. He needs to learn that there are two types of people. Those that add to you and those that take away from you. He's seems to be too caught up in his own popularity to notice when he's being used.:-(

 

I don't really know about what is going on with Pac regarding this issue, but I would like to add something...

Some people cannot tell others some things for whatever reason..... Pac seems to be a very humble guy and probably there is something going on that he might dislike but he doesn't know how to say it....

Maybe he thinks that having someone like Koncz would help him to solve some problems that he doesn't want to get involved at all.....

It is easy to criticize for us, but we don't really know what is going on.... but I can tell you this.... Pac is doing well in having somebody to look after some things he doesn't want to and doesn't have time for.....

As my oldest brother says.... when changes are made people will complain first, and then they will adjust accordingly..... but the more they complain it will only mean that the changes are effective.....

Of course the above isn't 100% guaranteed... but think about it....
