I hope Pac fights @ 147 just 2 kill the catchweight thing being used as an excuse all the time. 145 or 147: the result will be the same.

Sure, just as soon as people stop bitching about Floyd fighting Matthew Hatton, or Nate Campbell, or any other random person that hasn't even been formally approached, to say nothing of actually being in contractual negotiation with.

If this fight happens at a catchweight.....IM OFF THE BANDWAGON!!

I am so tired of this Bullsh*t!!!!!! Be a man Pacman. I have admired Manny for quite some time, but over the last 3 months or so, I have watched my respect for Manny drain like an hour glass. I understood the catchweight with Cotto, because I thought maybe he would go back to 140 lbs after Cotto. Then all the talk about Floyd-Manny, so it became clear to me that Manny was intending to be a full-time welterweight. I mean a full-time 145 pounder. If they do this fight at 145, I don't even want to order it.

P.S.: I hope this is still some kind of mix-up. This fight should be at 147!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

how can this still even be undecided at this point? they have the venue, HBO, basically, everything set, yet the main "Event" is still not signed?

Yep. Way too many voices coming from that camp. I, personally, will ignore anything that comes out of Team Pac, unless, it's from Arum or Manny himself.

Looking back though... it isn't uncommon for Clottey to weigh in at 145-146 when fighting at Welterweight anyways. Probably won't be an issue. If he does it someone just by virtue of coming in that way with no contracted agreement... then he probably won't have a problem with agreeing to it and it wouldn't effect his performance.

However... it would be nice if Manny just fought at 147.
