You do make a point there. I been wondering the same thing but never bother to brought it up. I mean whats the point in a weigh in when come the fight night one is much heavier than the other. It does make sense they are weigh on the day of the fight. If pac comes in at 149 then clottey comes in at 160+ that surely not fair to the naturally smaller guy. In this case they shouldnt be figthing at all. The agreed 147 weigh become irelevant here when they will be fighting at diff weigh anyway.
Exactly. What the hell is this guy doing with a belt for welterweight when the fight wasn't at that weight? :bart
Clottey should tell him its 147 or **** off to 140 or fight FM at 147... as that is what was supposed to happen anyway. Only a dumbass will pay for this bull**** fight.
Manny should now go back to 40 and fight those guys instead of catches vs 47, unless its a huge huge fight like Fraud would be
That has nothing to do with what I asked. And you don't know if he struggles at all. YOu can't make an assumption and pretend it's true. I know that's how you work. Good try though.
Sure it does. A guy who already struggles to make 147 would have even a harder time trying to make 145. It's just common sense. Clottey weighs 165 on fight night for his fights at 147. The guy is clearly draining his ass off to fight at 147 it's probably why he fades so badly late in fights in the first place.
It's a friggin rumor for ****'s sake. atsch Clottey himself said he was told 147. Again...the ten mill per pound that Pac had for Floyd was based on history. Clottey has no such history or intentionally not making weight.
