I'm not sure if Lucas Browne would beat Haye or not, but I know for a fact that if Haye had stopped old Chagaev this year like Browne did, Haye's fans would be bigging the win up as something special.
Let's face it, almost Haye's entire HW resume consists of those types of wins, or worse.

Absolutely! and Mr Icaman like this.

Anyone better than Arnold Garbage and Mark DeMori would be a starting place.

You're right, he doesn't deserve any sort of title shot.
He doesn't deserve any sort of top 10 ranking.

I don't understand why Haye is seen as a fomidable force either. Even 5 or 6 years ago his well-publicized heavyweight campaign left a lot to be desired, and since beating Chisora in 2012 he has done nothing, absolutely nothing.

Yes, the notoriously skint David Haye faked a cut to get out of that very lucrative fight. He then rather brilliantly got a doctor to perform surgery on his shoulder that he didn't need. It was all part of his masterplan to get out of fighting someone he was at the time widely expected to obliterate. This was a version of Fury that was very nearly one shotted by Cunningham. Remember that. He held no fears for anyone back then.

Trump will be limited in what he can do just like every other president in history. Short of establishing a dictatorship he won't be able to go on the genocidal rampage "removing people who don't deserve to exist from the Earth" that you're envisaging. He was the host of the Apprentice until last year FFS.

And as for Billy doing a charitable deed, I still can't believe you think this is up for debate. Billy, a prominent figure in Scottish boxing decided to help out the family of a Scottish boxer. There's an obvious link there. As for being in it for the 'glory', you need your head examined. How else would he raise money if not for publicising the event? Jesus wept.

So no actual suggestions then? And how do you propose arranges these fights? Eddie only seems interested in making the utterly awful Bellew fight so he can give Tony a payday.

There's no point in moaning about his next overmatched opponent then but I bet you will.

I don't moan about his overmatched opponents.
I simply point out to his adoring disciples that he's currently undeserving of a ranking, and those 'fights' prove nothing. The latter point everyone seems to agree with, but they still want to give him a ranking and claim he's a major force in the division.

Haye is a joke. I don't begrudge him earning a living, fighting bums on DAVE or whatever. Good luck to him.
I merely point out to boxing fans (who should already know) that he's currently a joke, not a serious contender.

As soon as he does something worthy, I'll be the first to say, "YES, NOW he is a serious contender".
But frankly, I'm not expecting it.

Whether you like it or not Haye deserves a ranking because he beat De Mori in his first fight back who was ranked in the top 10. So therefore he gets that ranking and more. Now if you have a problem with how the ranking systems work and rank fighters then that is fine, and a whole other thread, but Haye used the system to his optimal benefit and that is how the rankings work. Fact is if we are all truthful here the majority will likely agree that having this version Haye ranked somewhere between 5 - 10 is about right.

    I would strongly favour Haye.
Parkers team didnt seem interested about Joshua in my opinion and Ruiz looks in my opinion as an easier route to a title than Haye or Joshua. Still just my opinion and not a fact

Seems no one really wants to fight david haye it appears. If he was so easy why not get him in the ring and get an easy payday for it.

If he was so bad why isnt eddie hearn calling him for the joshua gig.

Because hayes still a dangerous proposition in the heavyweight division. People saying he doesnt deserve the shot...lets be honest here hayes an entertaining fighter. Big puncher. Fast reflexes. Good boxing brain etc. Boxings an entertainment business the last time i checked. If breazeale, martin, browne, ruiz and guys like that deserve a shot...david haye certainly does also.

These guys are more likely to put you to sleep than their opponents half the time. We ve had to endure the klitchkos for years. Its time to push guys like joshua, haye, ortiz even parker into the forefront.

Parker is going to get brutally knocked out by Ruiz in a matter of seconds. Parker is not a very good fighter.

Can I be your bookmaker? I'll give you odds of 100-1 on a first round KO. Now, if you'd like to send me a bitcoin or two we can get this show on the road.
