Too bad the likes of Joshua, Whyte, Povetkin etc are afraid to face the one and only Doomsday Wilder.

Stole isn't really an accurate description of what happened. More like Parker was gifted these lucrative fights because of Wilder's reluctance to do a deal and fight Whyte and Joshua.

Holyfield benefited from a similar scenario in his era and openly admitted it. Bowe wouldn't fight Lewis and so re-matched Holyfield giving Evander his titles back. Tyson vacated his belt rather than face his mandatory vs Lewis and fought Holyfield instead making Evander a 3 time champion.

 

Parker should be a gentleman and use some of his new found wealth to buy wilder a pen. Although god knows what his managers and advisors are guna do with that pen once they get wind of it.

 

I really like Parker. Total no fuss. Just gets on with it. Great attitude. Still think he needs a different trainer though to improve.

 

Yeah there's a lot to admire about his attitude. He may have his flaws as a fighter, but being scared of taking a risk is not one of them.

 

This. Parker got completely lowballed. Martin made more money than him. Also, Parker can't punch, so Joshua and Hearn weren't really taking a risk with Parker.

Hearn isn't going to keep paying guys outrageous amounts , I think anyone getting a huge amount of what they generally earn doesn't have real leverage.

if you compare what Parker made to that of what Wilder is being offered plus another belt i believe he has to take the offer!

It's revenge for Wilder snatching Molina as his first defense while he was in negotiations with Parker who was still in the prospect stage of his career.

 

That's insulting - to hippos who are in better shape and have better personality than the buffet king.

 

Good for Parker. He's the anti-Wilder, all action and no talk.

He deserves every penny he's getting.
