I hope so, I admit though Parker seemed a lil off in the showtime interview before Garcia-Rios. He also had a massive black eye covered with pounds of makeup
I have nothing against Joshua, but I wouldn't mind seeing Ortiz and Parker win. It would shake things up.
If Parker can't even rock Ruiz, the Romanian bloke and shades of ali i don't see him having the power or general ability to stop Joshua. He seems a really good bloke but from what I've seen he's a level below Joshua.
The more i think about it the more i just think this is going to be a relatively easy defence. I just dont see what Parker brings to the table other than his spirit and heart. Hes lucky to be in the position hes in considering his questionable power at World Level, diabolical footwork and very limited boxing skills but im happy for him because he seems a genuine nice guy, if hes not successful on the night (and even if he is ill be very happy for him but obviously devastated being a AJ fan) then im glad his family's future is financially secure for the future.
Team Parker should be hoping the medical staff "do the business on the 31st" so as to ensure their boy-next-door, chummy, straight-shooting, goodie two shoes, decent bloke Joseph can come again and keep the gravy train chugging along. Parker is too nice, I would suggest he watch Alec Baldwin scene in GGR pre-fight for inspiration.
Joshua couldn't get takam out of there till a premature stoppage in the 10th.. I dunno why some people think parker will be done within 6 rounds... parker has a decent chin.. Joshua may win but its going 12 rounds .
