Team Pavlik get Ref booted from Hopkins fight!

Good hopefully they get a ref that isn't afraid to take a point if it's too much slow dancing.

 

Should be announced very soon, the fight is only a day away and both teams need to vote.

 

These guys need Steve Smoger to ref. He let's fighters fight and stays out of the way.

 

Got to wonder why they're starting this one day before the fight, why not way before?, doesn't make sense that they just found out he could be a close friend of Hopkins'.

 

It's surprising indeed and what shocks me more is that they instantly approved of this appeal without further investigations, they didn't even tell them it's too late or anything, they welcomed it like they were begging for it to be bonest. It's like both me and you work at the same place, I complain about you at work when you're at home then in an hour they sent you a letter that you're fired, how is that normal?

 

Someone from Ytown had posted that Pavlik's camp was concerned about the ref and judge choices since it will be IBF and Hopkins pays them, Kelly doesn't. Looks like there concern was justified. Smoger is my choice.

 

I feel like Nady tends to get too involved in fights ala Cortez and sometimes tries to become the star of the show. I think for this fight they should get a ref who isn't known enough to put himself as the main attraction but experienced enough to not be overwhelmed by the occasion.

It's on the East Coast

As long as Hopkins isn't alllowed to i'll be happy with whomever is in there ..Smoger would be my choice as well ..
