    What a ****ing baby.

Maybe if you wouldn't quit in the middle of the biggest fight of your life, and have an excuse for every loss, people might believe you this time.

BJ got beat and beat soundly but if his corner was rubbing vaseline on GSP`s back he deserves to be reprimanded and it could potentially taint GSP`s victory. Considering the athletic commision was aware of this during the fight it will be interesting to see how this pans out.

It's easy to call him a baby, but if it is true then why wouldn't he issue a complaint. matt Serra said the same thing about GsP, might have some truth to it. And it's not like thats something that wouldn't effect the fight. Greasing agent on GSPs back? when fighting two BJJ guys? Yeah that could definitely give him an unfair advantage, especially in BJ's guard.

too bad. it will taint his victory in everyones eyes who was cheering for Penn most likely. how ****ing stupid is his corner? at this level these mistakes are crazy. would it have changed the outcome? slim to no chance. but if it is against the rules who knows what will happen GSP and his corner should have known better.

Dana was well aware of what was going on as the NSAC commisioners made a huge fuss about it near the ring apron. I wouldnt be surprised if this does get changed to a NC as cheating isnt allowed and despite his dominance putting vaseline on a guys back isnt cricket. GSP doesnt have any choice but to take responsibility for that.

If that's ''true'' why they didnt stop it right after that? Why did they let BJ take the beating of his life?

 That was a viscious beating. And honestly BJ wasn't offering anything on his feet either, vaseline or no vaseline BJ wasn't winning that fight. Actually maybe he could've done something off his back if GSP wasn't so slippery, but I still think GSP was just too quick, strong and skilled for him on the ground anyway.

Shitty situation. I don't think that Penn was EVER going to beat GSP. However, that doesn't mean that it's ok for GSP's corner to rub vaseline on his back. That is actually a pretty big cheat move in MMA. Especially with BJ's dangerous ground game, and the way that he uses his legs to hold his opponents who are on top into position. It would really help explain how easily GSP was passing BJ's guard, and why it looked like BJ's legs kept falling down Pierre's back everytime that he tried to grip up higher. It's actually a pretty big deal, even if GSP would have won either way. When you have someone as dangerous as BJ is on the ground, he can win a fight by submission at any point, especially with GSP being so active on top. However, vaseline being involved would REALLY hamper submission attempts, and make them pretty much impossible against someone like GSP.

We'll see what comes of it. And I don't think anyone will really say it is the reason GSP won, but it has to be exposed and he has to take responsibility for it.

Im backing GSP all the way but thats a huge advantage. As you saw early in the match when BJ was throwing a high guard and it kept slipping. It could have easily made a difference if not for vaseline.
