I don't know man. is it fair to ask povetkin to train for a boxing match only to show up at a wrestling event? wlad can box better than any other heavyweight on the planet, but he didn't do any boxing did he? and it is the responsibility of the ref to progress the fight within the rules of the sport while maintaining the safety of the fighters. I think anyone with half a brain could see the ref failed at his job that night.

It was the "ref" of there own and he makes a good job.

Holding is a part of boxing and Wlad did not win because of holding. He won because of punching.

Wlad is the better boxer than Povetkin.

Wlad had his bitchass ref the night he wrestled Povetkin. They should ban Wlad and the ref for that **** display that they put on last week.

As for holding as part of boxing, if someone is in trouble and holds to get his senses back, i have no problem with it. But Wlad´s intention was to completely destroy any kind of fight. And he was not only holding, he was also leaning onto his opponent. Had nothing to do with boxing.

I agree that Wlad is the better boxer, Povetkin is a fighter though, unlike Wlad, and he could´ve make it a fight with a neutral referee. It would´ve been a completely different scenario then.
