 Kiko is just being sour

There was genuine animosity between The Jackal and Kiko at one point. He is being honest and speaking the truth. Wait and see come February 27th Carl Frampton is the real deal. With the Ulstermen swarmimg the MEN he will be in his element. I"ll be sure to check in here when I get home. Lots of humble pie on the menu.

Look, things are always going to get said in the build up to a fight as big and as anticipated as this, throw into the mix it's also a PPV so there is the need to pull in the casual fan who might not know too much about the 2.
For me I thought Quigg and Gallagher sitting there giggling at anything Frampton said during the Manchester presser was cringeworthy, almost like what school kids do at playtime. Gallagher may be a well respected coach but he seems an arrogant so and so who believes the world revolves around his gym and his fighters. As for Eddie Hearn he is trying to create something to sell the fight and ruffle CF, you can't blame him but how I would like to see egg on his face, similar to Jim McDonnell in the build up to Degale Groves.
I do believe though that there is genuine respect between the 2 fighters and genuine belief that they are better than their opponent and I honestly think it's who deals with the pressure better on the night wins the fight

Agree with this. Quigg was looking to walk Kiko onto a big punch right from the get-go.

Maybe he was a bit lucky to get it quite so early, but that was the plan and he executed it.

Last time i looked, Belfast was in Northern Ireland.

Northern Ireland is part of the UK.

    Frampton is also a Protestant.

The Northern Irish Protestants came from the West of Scotland

The name Frampton is Anglo Saxon ( English )

Choosing to fight for Ireland as an amateur, doesn't make somebody Irish. :good

If Carl is a catholic he will most certainly identify himself as Irish.

It was nice to hear Frampton speaking honestly and respectfully about the upcoming Quigg fight last night.

He said that Quigg will be the best fighter he's faced, and that he expected a tough fight.

Amazing how his personality changes once he's away from the Circus.

The circus is on Quiggs side.
If you took the trouble to check around you'd see that most neutral are supporting Frampton here - precisely because they are rightly sickened by the childish boorish behaviour from Gallagher Hearn & Quigg. Neutrals - knowledgeable neutrals. That is the reason they cite. Check it out.

There is genuine respect from both fighters I think that's plain to see but both fancy their chances and both have managers and coaches who think their fighter will win.

Nah, i'll tell you what i see.....

The Wee Fella bouncing about like a demented Leprechaun, and the others smirking condescendingly, and pulling the superiority card at every opportunity.

Frampton is a fine boxer, and has a fan friendly style, he could have made countless millions by now with a different team around him.

Hearns credentials as a promoter are top notch, he may not be universally liked, but he makes things happen.

Gallagher is proving to be a decent trainer, cemented by his award last year.
