It would be a good idea, if it got more promotion than that contender one, because that was poorly promoted - would need some decent names too.

It's a good idea. Like Kos says, it needs to be promoted better. I'm no UFC fan but their 'Ulitmate Fighter USA V UK' series was very well put together. You can't take that away from them.

Better production values. Better organised and promoted events. The last series was cheap rubbish, TBH.

yeah like said above if theres more media on it etc it would probably work.

if you cant find alot of boxers in the pro ranks look at the am's and say your showcasing the "upcoming talent" also.

the main thing is publicity though, i didnt even know about the usa vs uk until half way through and that was only by skipping through channels accidentally.

you could even do something like what channel 5 did ages ago with the am's (north uk vs south) that was good but also lacked media

What type of fighters would you be looking at? prospects, journeymen, gatekeepers or a mixture?

a mixture to be honest, i have only just got the ball rolling so still a long way to go but idealy like all the matchups to be 50/50 or as close as possible because im a major boxing fan myelf an there the fights we all like to see, its a bit ambitious at the moment but so far all the people ive spoke to have been very posotive

Ola Afalobi vs. Steve Cunningham = Cunningham UD
Clinton Woods vs. Bernard Hopkins = Hopkins UD
Carl Froch vs. Andre Dirrell = Froch UD
Matthew Macklin vs. Kelly Pavlik = Pavlik KO
Jamie Moore vs. Paul Williams = Williams KO
Kell Brook vs. Shane Mosley = Mosley UD
Ricky Hatton vs. Timothy Bradley = Hatton UD
Amir Khan vs. Rolando Reyes = Reyes KO
Kevin Mitchell vs. Robert Gurrero = Gurrero UD
Martin Lindsay vs. Rocky Juarez = Juarez UD
Rendall Munroe vs. Al Seeger = Munroe KO
Jason Booth vs. Nestor Rocha = Booth UD

    USA 8 - 5 UK
