Ben Whittaker and his team in my opinion could be pugilist geniuses.

The first fight with Liam Cameron, consciously, team Whittaker knew he was losing the first fight so Ben Whittaker took a back dive with Liam attached over the top rope and out of the ring. The result was a no contest.

The second fight with Liam Cameron, consciously, Team Whittaker knew the boxing industry would jump into put the kibosh at the first opportunity because BW is a valued commodity. The situation consists of the referee, the interviewers, the commentators, the promoters. Even Liam Cameron himself had no complaints.

A thief at market. Bravo to Team Whittaker, it’s a formula that works.

To be specific, the result was a draw.

True but the goal was to be a no contest.

Stupid idea doing it in the 6th then. Definitely nothing genius about it.

Honestly defeat might be preferable to the Quittaker label, between the first fight and the blatant ref job in the second, Ben's rep is probably lower than if he'd just gotten outpointed in a humbling but educational loss
