If Wilder were to take the fight and lose he wouldn't be able to complain that Povetkin was roided. I think the smartest thing to do is pull out of the fight. If it was a month away that's different but its only a week away.

Povetkin was still within the legal limit.

Is Wilder the most cowardly heavyweight champion ever? Quite possibly.

The WBC might not sanction it because the WBC PROTECTS Wilder, similar to the manner in which they protect Canelo Alvarez, their "middlweight champion." Isn't this obvious to you? I repeat: POVETKIN'S MELDONIUM LEVEL WAS WELL BELOW THE MINIMUM THRESHOLD. By all accounts Wilder did not ask the WBC to sanction it after the test result, because he's a coward and he, his team, and the WBC want out of a Povetkin fight ANY WAY THEY CAN GET IT. The WBC WANTS Wilder to be their champion.

This is your opinion, not facts.

It's a BANNED SUBSTANCE, has been for 5 months. And he took it even after the ban was implemented. That's his fault, no one else's.

If what they had said initially (The stuff about him taking it last Sept) held any water, the fight would have gone through.

But that's not the case is it?

Povetkin has NO ONE TO BLAME, but himself.

    Everyone knows that.

No, the fact is, the meldonium level was well below the acceptable threshold. Wilder and his team did NOT try to negotiate a deal to keep the fight happening. He ran home TO HIS MAMA.

I don't think he made that statement. That was Ward.

So Povetkin tests positive for a banned substance. The WBC postpones the contest. And Wilder is still to blame?

    :rofl

You Povetkin apologists need to start sharing whatever good stuff it is that you're smoking.

    :smoke

    Lol!

    WHAT DEAL?

Wilder has no say in what the WBC does, is that so hard to understand?

Wilder waited for WBC to make the decision. The WBC made it and told him they were cancelling due to the lack of integrity in the fight (One party being fueled by substances and the other not)

He heard it, then he flew back.

Why the bleep would he FLY TO RUSSIA knowing the bout is already cancelled? :nut

You Povetkin-Nuts literally want him to FLY TO RUSSIA for no apparent reason. :rofl

First the fight is not cancelled.

Second Povetkin did not cheat, as from the information known he is WITHIN ALLOWED limit, totally unlike Roid Mayweather.

It's going to be a lawsuit, which Wilder team has very chance of winning. Especially if sample B will be negative.

Was the amount of Melo detected in Povetkin's bloodstream enough to constitute a failed test? This is something I've been unable to ascertain and obviously makes a huge difference.

    1. Wilder's trainer and Lou Dibella said the fight was CANCELLED

    2. Yes he did, the substance has been banned for close to 6 months now and evidence already shows that he took it way after the implemented ban

    3. Wilder has a 99.9999999999999999999999% chance of winning that lawsuit and will be getting much compensation for what he lost (training expenses in the US and UK). Ryabrinskyy won't even get the $ he put in the bank for Wilder. :rofl

Why wasn't it in his first 2 drug tests but showed up in a 3rd? Did Povetkin think the testing was over and started giving him the drug?:think
