Wrong! Of course it means something . . . the difference is . . . that doesn't matter now since he opted to retire after fighting DLH and the big show instead of fighting his real challenger. :deal

Who is his real challenger exactly?, I already discussed this with you and open to discuss it again. Let me remind you of something you're forgetting, before Floyd fought Hatton and when he retired who did Margarito fight in a serious big fight and what was the outcome? :good

People read into marketing garbage too much. Paul Williams won fair and square good on him if he wants to throw some chat around to encourage the big fight rematch.

It is the only fight that makes sense at WW.

Oh let me just rephrase that . . . not "real" . . . but toughest opposition who has a real chance to beat him.

Don't be misled . . . I've been calling PBF a *** . . . because he is acting exactly like one . . . but if PBF/Margrito comes off . . . or Cotto vs PBF . . . I'm PICKING PBF via decission like what I have posted on the other thread. But bottom line the fight needs to happen . . . but it won't because PBF chose retirement.

Who Margarito has fought is not a factor . . . he has been calling Floyd long before he fought Hatton; DLH and the big show . . . but according to PBF himself and justified by his nuthuggers . . . the guy hasn't accomplished anything yet. It's just going around in circle. :D

Now back to the thread. :deal

I don't even want to twist the subject of this threat but PBF hasn't accomplished anything yet?, 5 division world champion, P4P#1 for years and possibly one of the last greatest fighters of this generation and a guarantee in the HOF hasn't accomplished anything yet?

If Margarito has only started to dominate 1 division and has faced 5 losses in the process(1 when he attempted to move in weight) then Floyd already completely dominated two divisions before making his appearance at 140/147/154 and captured the number spot in both divisions(147/154), fighter of the year 1998 and 2007 yet he hasn't accomplished anything?

Let's talk about accomplishments please, what has Margarito exactly accomplished before calling out Mayweather?, in a serious discussion about Margarito here, let's completley push Mayweather aside and talk about accomplishments since you possibly hint that you know much about them when you say Mayweather hasn't accomplished anything. I can make a comparison with Margarito in terms of overrall accomplishments but that would so one-sided that we don't even need to go there. As I asked, what has Margarito really done to be considered a good enough opponent to be considered?, even if Mayweather beat him a few of you loyal Margarito fans will definitely give him credit but do you honestly think he will get any decent credit in the long run?, that's a question based on Margarito's accomplishments when Mayweather first made his move at Welterweight and before he met Cotto and all of that. The true answer is NOTHING and you know it, there's a reason Margarito is only recently officially considered #1 and that's because the previous #1 fighter was defeated, Miguel Cotto.

You find it okay for Margarito to tell Williams to "Step in line and wait" but when Mayweather did the same to him and for OBVIOUS LOGICAL AND CLEAR reasons he's a chicken and a fraud?, please note that you made that statement whilst knowing Williams defeated Margarito previously.

Now we can go back to topic. :good

Pretty simple and clear Eze, it's because BigReg responded to a really horrible poster with first class rubbish posts and thoughts when it comes to boxing in general.

You don't want to twist the subject???? Common sense . . . it's not PBF . . . . it's Margarito who was being thrown around as the one who doen't deserve PBF. WTF??? :patsch

PBF didn't tell Margarito to fall in line . . . he said who? The guys needs to accomplish more?

And now that he's gonna have to fight either Cotto or Margarito . . . he's retired.

Yeagh right . . . Margarito is in line. :rofl

:happy :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy

And Willaims? I can assure you that Margarito won't retire because of Williams. . . this REMATCH will happen. :deal

nobody denies mayweather's greatness at the lighter weightclasses, but don't even begin to say he was a great welterweight. he should be retired right now with victories over margarito, mosley, williams, AND cotto. but instead, he hasn't even fought any of them....that's some sad ****. mayweather's legacy has taken a hit and he has nobody to blame but himself.

I never said he's a great Welterweight, at that point of his career Mayweather has done enough division dominating and wanted the big money fights that could motivate him. His move to Welterweight was a clear sign that he has his eyes on DLH with DLH having his eyes on him as well. As soon as he got what he wanted he retired simply because the motivation wasn't there, he already accomplished enough in his career to seek out legacy at that point. Even at doing so in his very last year as an active fighter he was voted fighter of the year simply because his last two fights aren't as bad as some haters say they were.
