Thats the way I kinda remember it also. I thought I remember Marg coming back big time on Williams. I thought it was more like Marg needed 1 more round to ko Williams

Would love to see then fight again

If there were to be a rematch, Williams TKO's Margo.

I agree, I'm not taking away from the win, but I'm just pointing out his idiotic claim that he would have KOed Marg in more round is just ******ed.

Nah....I doubt even he believe himself moreso him wanting to lash back at Marg's camp stating what happened. It's true that Marg requested an immediate rematch but was turned down for whatever reason.....he wasn't scared, just like Marg not wanting a rematch right now doesn't make him scared. I just think at the time Paul was sitting pretty and wanted to relish in his accomplishment, maybe get an easy fight or a more marketable fight....we all see what happened.

Now Marg is relishing in his "lime light" and he is wanting to make something happen while he's HOT. Can't knock him...just like we couldn't Knock Paul for not wanting to do it again with Marg after thier first match. And NO WAY would Paul KO Marg with 1 extra round. It's ******ed to think so.

Williams says in the video interview they offered Margo an immediate rematch which his camp refused. They went for unification and Kermit whimped out. They offered Margo a shot against, along with other guys in the division and they all declined.

That is two opportunities Margo had to fight Williams after the loss and he refused both of them.

That's bull**** scar and you know it. Floyd and his fans have been claiming he's an atg and the man at WW so he better be able to back it up, otherwise he will get shitted on. All anyone considered Margo is a top WW and he has more than proved it.

Floyd's accomplishments would get recognized more often if his fans didn't try to take them out of context. If you consider yourself the best WW in the world shouldn't you take on the best in the world instead of cherrypick big money fights? Guess what Margo has and now he wants to cherrypick ONE fight before he continues cleaning out the WW division. The contrast in the Margo and floyd senarios, which makes it odd that posters are brining up floyd's situation when it is nothing like margo's.

So at WW Floyd cherry picks one fight, Hatton, and is tar and feathered, but Margo gets the benefit of the doubt? WTF. Get out of here nuthugger.

Margo runs away from everyone who can challenge him and it seems now that he runs away from money. Williams is giving him money and a fight that will crown the WW king and Margo is running away from it, chicken Margarito.

Immediately after the PW vs Marg fight, after the decision was read Marg asked for the rematch and from what was said Paul said he'd give him one. And After the fight it was document on a site where they talk boxing that Marg wanted to get the rematch right away but Goosen didn't want to take it b/c there wasn't a rematch clause to hold them down.

I'm not sure what happened afterwards but it was clear that Marg was itching for an immediate rematch but was turned down.....but regardless....the rematch is gonna happen. I hope it happens sooner rather than later for Margs sake.

Paul is still young and learning....Marg is PRIME....Paul may be physically in his prime but he deosn't have the yrs or experience at this level to be considered at his very best and Marg should try to take advantage of that.

My dude, stop trippin. At WW, pbf cherrypicked hatton and hoya. You may think hoya was a threat but it wouldn't appear that way seeing as how everyone is criticizing Margo for wanting to fight him. Then before he retires he decides he wants to fight hoya again.:-(

How the hell does margo run away from everyone who challenge him when he has essentially fought everyone?

Hatton is the only WW fight he cherry picked and according to your logic that should have been ok, since he had a Jr. MW fight again De La Hoya. Remember he moved up a division to fight Oscar, that wasn't a WW bout.

Hoya is a bigger threat against Floyd because of his size, to MArgo Oscar is the smaller man. As for Margo begging for a fight, I wouldn't have a problem with it if there was a chance Oscar would consider it, but he ruled the fight between the two off, so Margo needs to start moving on.

As for chicken Margo, is he not running away from a rematch and career high payday by continuing to duck Paul Williams. What about Santos, he called him out last week, I've heard nothing for Margo trying to get a rematch against Santos either. Margo tastes defeat and doesn't want to avenge it, he wants to act like it never happend.

Its already been said many times. A PW-Margo rematch will not occur until 2009, and I think theres high percentage of this fight happening, but Margarito and his camp are looking for a fight before years end. If Margarito wants to do his best to land the fight that DLH promised him close to a decade ago, theres nothing wrong with that.

Cherrypicking big money fights?, so you think moving up 1 division and signing a contract 100% pro DLH in a completely new divising only to win and come back for another major fight with Hatton is cherrypicking?

If he was cherrypicking then why was he voted fighter of the year in 2007?, that's a year you openly claim he cherry picked. As I said before and will say again, Floyd had no intentions to stay in every single division and dominate, it takes you nearly 7 fights if not more to dominate one division and I would like you to wake the **** up for a minute and think about what you're saying. If he went into every single division and completely dominated, don't you think he gets older or this media hype and bull**** got you to think he's immune to age?, Floyd didn't want to waste time he already dominated TWO divisions and was going for the #1 position in 3 others together with big fights only. At the time Floyd was available Margarito has done jack**** in a division he considered his and the proof is that there is a LIST of undisputed champions in that very same division as Margarito was active. Floyd's situation is very much similar to Margarito's.

The Hatton fight isn't cherry picking, don't let these idiots fool you, it was a very good fight that generated a lot of interest. Want to see true cherry picking?, check out half of Margarito's record.
