Williams' trainer, George Peterson, thinks the world has no choice but to recognize Williams' gargantuan talents. "Paul will exceed the fame of Sugar Ray Leonard, or Marvin Hagler, or Tommy Hearns, or Roberto Duran," Peterson told the Augusta Chronicle. Peterson also claimed that he held Williams back from knocking Winky Wright cold, for fear that such a result would scare off future opponents.

He better go to work then and stop that BS that he's the most feared. Start by moving back to 147 and cleaning it up and then back to 160 and 168 to do the same.

Learn to operate behind a jab, not give up his height, and learn to pick and place his shots instead of throwing 1,000 punches and hoping for success.

This might keep him from losing to another average fighter again.

Paul Williams is the FUTURE OF BOXING. The man has NO FEAR and SUPREME skills.

Let's face it: There is noone from 147-154 that can touch Williams. The guy is an ANIMAL. His INCREDIBLE workrate, EXCELLENT CHIN, VARIETY of Punches, ability to throw from SICKENING ANGLES, UNDENIABLE HEART and WILLINGNESS TO ENGAGE THE ENEMY WITH HARD BLOWS ON THE INSIDE AND OUTSIDE will make him a future top 10 ATG.

Anyone who claims Williams is NOT DUCKED from 147-154 to DELUSIONAL. He STRIKES FEAR into the hearts of fighters and THEIR PROMOTERS.

Williams is ready for battle and I for one will not miss it when the war truly begins!

I like Williams but this upsets me.

I find it funny when characters of boxing disresepect current fighters (aka Haye with Wlad)...but I don't think you should reference past greats!!!

Prove it in the ring Paul, you're good enough to do it....and tell George to pipe down!!!

Williams is overrated at 147...I think he's beatable there!!! At 154 fighting anyone (including the 147 fighters), I think he's unstoppable!!!

160 it's a little early to tell as Wright wasn't anywhere near his old self...but he looks mighty impressive.

he needs to stick to one division, most probably 154 for a while, clean it out and become one of the few 'undisputeds' in the sport and big name fighters will be chasing him for $$$$$$$

Farcical comment. He doesn't have their talent; nor is boxing as popular as it was then.
