Who is the most technical pressure fighter? I'm not looking for someone who comes out like a house of fire and bullies you like Hatton, I'm thinking someone who methodically comes forward and picks their opponent apart on the inside with skill and precision. Roberto Duran was great at this, as well as James Toney.

    What are your choices?

Kostya Tzsyu was good at this.

    Jimmy Carter.

Right now you have Roman Gonzalez (traditional pressure) and Juan Manueal Marquez, who boxes with counter-pressure.

Chavez, Frazier, and LaMotta are pretty underrated technically.

100% agree with the chavez responses, zoo is an interesting pick that I can't argue with.

this may be a bit unusual but i like trinidad for this one. technically very sound and he put a very slow, methodical pressure on most fighters burning them down as the left hook started landing

i think qawi had some pretty good moves for a swarmer

Which of Frazier's fights show his technical skills? (he's one of my favorites)

Toney wasn't much a pressure fighter. Rather the opposite, really. He did his best work when the opponent came to him.

Counter-pressure... that sounds like an oxymoron.
