That punch was nowhere near low enough for that kind if reaction from Zab. He was getting out classed in that fight and knew he wasn't gonna win it so he took his first chance out. Classic Zab Judah.

People need to get REAL and stop being 'technical', that was not a low blow it was in the stomach!, I don't care what the ref said about the waistband, it was the same ref that counted him out.

It was borderline, but Zab just wanted a way out. He was losing and was discouraged and quit.

His claims of the punch hitting him in the nuts are hilarious.

    Was it low? Yes.

Was it a low blow? No.

There is a different between on the belt and below the belt.

Either way, it doesn't change the fact that Judah was faking it, especially as he has his trunks all the way up to his belly button.

Well yes, technically it was. But unless Zab had the same accident Ben Stiller had in Something About Mary with the beans on top of the frank, thats just an excuse and Zab knows it. Plus him getting a beaten further might of convinced the ref the end it. Good stoppage.

  7. Thread starter is absolutely right. The shot was low.

HOWEVER, it wasn't a KO punch ok, Zab definitely used it to avoid another 7 rounds of beatings.

Look at it this way. Judah is dominating the fight, Khan lands
that punch. Would Judah quit? No chance, he wasn't good enough.
    End of.

I concur. The hilarious part is when he realized the ref just counted him out and he pops up to say wtf??? And then realizes it's over then bends back down to follow his script. Keepin it real yo.

Even if it was low, who cares? Zab was getting his ass kicked, and would have continued to get his ass kicked had the "low blow" not happened. He needed a way out, and he found his opportunity. The guy has no heart at all whatsoever. Everytime he is getting his ass kicked (Cotto, Mayweather, Khan) he gets that worried, "oh ****" look on his face instead of manning up and going out like a soldier. **** Zab Judah!

Do some of you people actually think Zab deserved to win by DQ?

    no?

Then what are you complaining about?

The thing is, THAT COULD HAVE HAPPENED! Another ref could have called it a low blow, and DQ'd Khan after Judah was unable to rise...words can't describe how much that would have pissed me off. I can honestly say my taste for boxing would be all but gone for awhile if that had happened. Just thinking about the fact that it could have happened gets me...

Another ref would have taken a point, given Judah 5 mins to recover, otherwise Khan would have won anyway.

DQ only happens after multiple low blows, not after the first one, even if the ref saw it as one.
