Boxing's original and to this day premiere P4P battler... you never saw the likes of Manny Pacquao taking on full middleweight challengers.

I absolutely love how fighters used to simply wait for openings like some kind of gloved preying mantis, inches away from another just waiting for the other fighter to make some micro mistake so the other can instantly bound in and take advantage of it. Very, very different from how the game evolved and is now, with a large emphasis now put on using your legs to create as much space as possible between yourself and your opponent.

You see a lot of posturing in modern boxing, long stretches where nothing of substance is even attempted none the less actually thrown. You watch old boxing film and you can really see the bad intentions fighters had on just about every one of their shots. They seemed to be mean as hell and were there to fight. They're like little wind up springs just ready to explode. Great stuff.

Lewis was a fun fighter for sure but caveat the Paq comment with Lewis did not start out at 106 lbs either then fight his way up

Pacquiao was also a massive weight cutter for a good majority of his career, as many Thai and sometimes Philippine fighters tend to be at the lower weight classes.
