...Was trying to think of an aggressive puncher/swarmer who would have a chance against Roberto and Lewis is who i've come up with.

Of course Lewis could box too, and I feel he's underated - one of the best to come out of Europe for sure.

He'd be the bigger man here, and though it's with my heart in my mouth, I guess i'd pick Lewis to beat Duran.

What about the rest of you?

the kid wouldn't succumb to duran's rough-housing, he'd more than hold his own. i dunno though, i can just see lewis being hit with crisp counters one time too often. i think duran would deal slightly better with lewis' power than the other way around, even at this weight... power and sharpness of punch to duran. inside exchanges leaning towards lewis. duran ud (because judges tend to shun the inside work in favour of the cleaner headshots)

This is a very intruiging match up,the original crashing , dashing , bashing ,Kid,against Hands of Stone.
I think I might be tempted to pick Lewis too. Duran was not allways so impressive at welter, and Lewis was a very strong 147 pounder, who had the misfortune of coming up against Jack Britton nearly every ****ing week.
I look forward to more posts on this excellent match up.My compliments for thinking of it MM.

    thwead, wise from yow gwave!

6-inch boxing head to head deathmatch. Kind of inclined to favor him based on sheer lb-4-lb accomplishments. I also think Lewis has much greater power, and surprising accuracy from what i've seen of him.

I'd sacrifice PowerPuncher for Britton-Lewis footage

I'd sacrifice Powerpuncher for a hotdog.

I dunno...I think he could get out-monstered, yeah. It's Duran by knockout or Kid on points.
