I think it's impossible to say who has top 10 footwork of all time. Way too many fighters in history and it depends on what someone personally values as footwork. Do you prefer athletic feet or technical feet? Do you prefer fighters who come forward or fight off the back foot? Do you prefer flashy footwork or traditional footwork? From Atlas list for example, I don't see any pressure fighters. Mainly fighters with flashy footwork or athletic footwork. Joe Louis is probably the only one with just pure technical footwork. So clearly the pressure fighter and the footwork they display is not something Atlas highly values.
Hi Guys. My kind of " footwork " is not of the Pep variety, or Mayweather, I like and admire the likes of Arguello, a more refined and subtle approach, little movements, adjusting the feet to accommodate the hands, nothing flashy, less was more, Louis is in this bracket I would venture, also Napoles, keep all your speedsters, all your ducking and diving, running backwards, serve me up the slower guys, I mean when you sit down for your fav meal, do you rush, or saviour, nuff said. stay safe guys, chat soon.
