That is your interpretation of why Hopkins faked the low blow. My interpretation is that he was gased and needed the rest to re-energize his stamina in order to have enough of it to win the final 2 rounds and NOT because he was about to go.

 

around 2004, circa byron mitchell. he was at his most physically explosive around then. he hit harder earlier on but his skills weren't so refined then.

he is nowhere near as fast as he used to be.

Considering that I, like most boys growing up were taught to not fight with girls I dont really get what youre trying to imply.

compare the difference in speed even between the lacy and kessler fights and you'll see that it's decreasing.

 

I watched the mitchell fight about a week ago, i did not notice any huge differences. As you say his skills were less refined, his power was better, more sharp but still not explosive and his speed was a bit better. Prime calzaghe has certain positives and certain negatives compared to his current incarnation.

 

Klion some of these people just dont get it. These monday morning - couch - boxers just dont get it sometimes. Hopkins was hit directly on the top of the cup. DIRECTLY.

Does this mean that Calslappy punch his balls? NO but what it does mean is that the cup can slide and clamp or pinch the nut sack:deal

Low is low , and one low can be just as painful as the other or more.

 

By 'hit' you probably mean 'brushed' or 'grazed'. That was my other favourite part of the Teddy Atlas thing, where he said that the 'blow' was only the equivalent of what the referee does before the fight to check that the fighter is wearing a box!

I clearly said Calslappy won the fight . ITs in the same quote box youre using agaisnt me you dumb piece of ****. He was clearly being outlanded. with wild pitter pat amatureish punching. JC won the fight. He won it with wild crazy girl like punches. I sorry if you hate that I say this ( well no I'm not really) but ...


I 've seen MMA guys throw with better form. That was the worst. I think I know now why JC gets so much flack . He throws with absolutely no authority. His punches are like nothing almost.

How do you shut out a guy like LAcy and cant knock him out?
He landed almost nothing on JC and with so many punches landed on LAcy the fight should have lasted about 4 rounds.
