waah waah, hopkins is a "cheat". hopkins "faked low blows." there were low blows that hopkins probably milked for extra rest time -- why wouldn't a fighter do that when facing an exhausting fighter like calzaghe? i never saw hopkins hurt in that fight.

they clinched a lot and hopkins held on but probably not as much as ruiz. watch any hw fight for similar holding. it's up to the ref to enforce rules btw. the fight was a dirty ugly match and neither guy was blameless.

btw, no way calzaghe won 9 rounds unless you score blindly on "agression" and compubox numbers. calzaghe in the end did more and probably should get a close decision.

Yes, Calzaghe won clearly but it's very difficult to knock a fighter out when he's preoccupied with defence so I doubt that Joe would have done so if it had been 15 rounds

Its very hard to knock a fighter out when he has never been knocked out and when you can't punch.

He wouldn't have had to 'knock him out'. Hopkins would have collapsed with exhaustion.

Indeed, it wasn't a difficult bout to score...

I found it hard giving Joe C. the 6 rounds I gave him, meaning I felt I stretched it to get it there. At most he won 6 rounds as far as I can see.

I love Teddy Atlas's BSing. Its great, the man talks like he made Micheal Moorer a champ. He says all this **** about his strategizing Holyfield and seeing something (BS) right after Burt Sugar had his segment documenting the fact that Holyfield fought after having a heart attack after he knocked Moorer down. Can you believe the balls of the guy, to brag about winning a ****ing SD of a man who had a heart attack in the 2nd round.

I wonder what the ******* saw in the George Foreman fight.

He went on to say that this was not the best Calzaghe he had seen
and Joe didn't employ the best strategy but still won easily.

You sounded like a bit of a ***** in the first note you wrote. I know you were trying to create some analogy regarding the Calzaghe / Hopkins fight, but it did not work, since it had little to do with what occurred in the actual fight. The take away from your note was that you could not handle a girl!

I am American and I believe Calzaghe won clearly and Hopkins acted like a tired little *****!

He would have TKO'd Hopkins simply because Hopkins was getting very exhausted and would not have been able to hold Joe off much longer. Hence the fake breaks.

Could have been going for a point deduction in a close fight, too.

Hopkins is clearly the better technically but calzaghe tired him out and just before the fake low blow bernard seemed pretty tired to me....I don't think he was broke down mentally but it prob would have been a lot worse for him if no fake low blow

Well you sound like youre a stupid person who cannot read because I said that I was confused. I didnt say I couldnt handle her, moron.

What do you think , that I was going life and death with a girl? Youre an idiot. One strong cross should pretty much end the fight agaisnt most people especially a girl. but I'm not an animal I dont just strike down females ,*******. Because of this I had a confusing situation dealing with a girl throwing punches and kicking at my nuts .

Her punches didnt even hurt,... just like Calsplappys

I doubt he was tired, he wasn't breathing hard after the bout, while Calzaghe was.

Hopkins thought he had the fight won, and was setting up a situation for a point deduction for Joe. That is all I saw. Hopkins manhandled Joe all night and landed all of the meaningful blows of the fight, and like he said, he made joe look like a ****ing amateur.

Its obvious that the judges who scored Hopkins only winning 4 and 3 rounds need to be fired.
