This content is protected I know it’s 40 minutes, but damn, you must watch this. Teddy Atlas is a though and real man.
I just can't force myself to listen to him for that period of time. Can you pinpoint the time that is most relevant? I'm willing to listen to him a bit but not that long.
Teddy Atlas' father was my father's family doctor when he was a kid growing up, and from every firsthand account I have heard, Dr. Atlas was a modern day Saint.
I like Teddy. He has one of the purest passions to this sport I have ever seen. I believe he always tries to do justice for the sport and he is not afraid to be that guy stands tall and opens his mouth when things are going wrong. Sometimes he is wrong, Yes. Sometimes he overreacts, Yes. But most of the time I can agree with his opinions. Or atleast I understand why he is thinking the way he is. He loves boxing, big heart and big personality. We need more guys like Teddy. You don't always have to be right but damn, we need more people with OPINIONS! And he has given some legendary stuff to us. You never forget his motivational talk to Michael Moorer.
Ah, Teddy. The relentless self-pity. The heart on your sleeve stories of hardship and courage. The exaggerated dumb guy act. It’s all straight out of On the Waterfront. I made it through 18 minutes before I started poking myself in the eye with a sharp stick. My favorite part was where Teddy was describing how his father wore a hernia truss and in his best Staten Islandese pretends not to know if he’s pronouncing the word “truss” correctly. “I probably need you to give me the proper proNOUNCiation, but it was a ‘trust’, I think. Yeah.”
Boxing needs a International Commission & the man to put at the head should be Teddy Atlas. He loces the sport. He is 100% honest & is not afraid to speak up about the blatant corruption dragging the sport down Sadly that will never happen Teddy got fired for telling a few home truths A few State Commissioners started getting worried Teddy had to go he knows too much
