A lot of eastern European fighters, talented though they are come across as very polite, hardworking and humble. Maybe they have an ego but don't show it. The problem with that they don't really have a voice to stand up for themselves when something foul happens. A guy like that could actually us Teddy Atlas.

 

This is one time Teddy's outrage makes sense.

That 98-92 scorecard was one of the very worst I've ever seen over many years of following boxing.

 

It was a double whammy with the 115-111 to Wilder, two of the worst scorecards ever on the same night

 

What were the other two scores?

 

One had Gvozdyk behind by two rounds, the other had it a draw.

So without the KO, Stevenson would have very likely retained his title.

Even with the best case scenario of Gvozdyk winning the last two rounds on the scorecard of the judge who had him behind by two rounds (which is very unlikely), and the third judge splitting the two rounds, it would have been a majority draw.
