Motivation is what Errol needs. He's mentally in a dark place and he needs a bright light like Atlas's coaching qualities to illuminate that potential. A move like this could push Spence back to the top. No other circumstances will earn Spence a title shot at jr middle weight. If Spence chooses Robert Garcia over Teddy Atlas he'll get KO'd in his next fight. Other trainers won't be capable of improving Spence like Big Teddy will improve Spence.

I'd like to see it. I think that Teddy is a good trainer especially if he only has one fighter to focus on like when he last trained The Nail who KO'd Stevenson and gave Beterbiev the toughest fight of his career under Teddy.

Maybe , but at this point I don't feel like a new trainer will change much for Spence.

He needs a time machine to go pre Lamborghini crash then move to 154 probably in 2021, and make sure he cut down on sparring to prevent detached retina's.

Spence has lost to father time and the harshness of boxing. It takes no prisoners. Your career can be over in the blink of the eye or even your life.

I don’t mean to be that guy to disregard a fighter after one loss, but Spence could very well be finished. I honestly don’t know what Atlas could possibly fix.

Spence shouldn't have been a moron driving like an idiot/under the influence.

He's finished. Fighters have a tough time coming back to 100% after bad knockouts, let alone crazy car crashes.

In hindsight, Spence never really fought differently. It's as if only trained to fight one way. He never really had to adapt. Also his trainer wasn't able to see what was going on in real time, develope a plan and give meaningful instructions. As a result, Spence just kept doing the same thing over and over, mainly because he only learned to fight one way.
