I find Atlas's random ****ogies kind of amusing. Thing I don't like about his commentary is how he acts righteous and talks about mismatches being so terrible for boxing, when he has no problem putting his own fighters in there with overmatched opponents. But he cracks me up sometimes with his commentary. I wonder if part of the reason he plotted to kill Donny Lalonde was because he didn't "fight tall" enough for his liking.
He also gets credit for allegedly "willing" and "inspiring" Moorer to the HW title against Holyfield, who was suffering from a shoulder injury/heart issue/HGH-itis...when in actuality if you watch the rounds right after Atlas pleaded with Moorer to fight harder, Moorer went out and slept-walked some more. Not that Atlas was wrong or anything, but it's not like Moorer seemed to fight any harder in those rounds right after Atlas got on his case and gave his speeches. I still think Moorer was cautious because of the 2nd round KD he suffered, and he knew that Holyfield could be really dangerous when hurt. Shannon Briggs is another fighter in addition to Moorer who gave his more courageous efforts in fights in which someone other than Atlas trained him.
Every fight he says... You gotta go to the body to take some air out of those tyres. I swear he says the same **** every fight. He is likeable though, he's a big upgrade on Jim Watt who kept saying BRIAN JONES in Rose VS Jones II.
I am with you brother:thumbsup He makes me literally laugh out loud at times, spit my beer on the floor or borderline crack a rib. Then at times, few, he will enlighten the fight with a few words of wisdom :yep He only used "bugs on the windshield " twice last night and then went to Jimi Hendrix building castles in the sand...which was not that bad
I was disappointed in Teddy last night. Did not even once mention controlling he geography in the ring.
He is considered a joke here in New York, much like Ledderman, who to be fair is a very nice gentleman,so we give him slack.Atlas, thats a different story completely,he an abomination and a shill for whoever hires the dope.
