He's not that disrespected in reality. What you have in this thread are a bunch of sad void fans who prefer to assume that PBF beat the best Mosley. The truth is that this is not a wild assumption, in fact it's the most likely assumption. Shane looked like ****. Slow, no cardio, couldn't get his shots off, couldn't move his feet. He looked FANTASTIC against Margo, like a club fighter against PBF. The main thing that changed? The testing.

In a way this semi legitimizes Floyd wanting random testing for his fights, because it seems equally obvious that Floyd is doing it naturally.

I do believe that if this wasn't Shane Mosley, someone we all love, we'd be a lot tougher on him than we are. If PBF tested positive for PEDS after a fight you would never ever hear the end of it. I looked the other way on Mosley for a long long time. When Mosley's run is done that question is gonna loom fairly large over his career.

The same way it looms large over RJJ's who was found to have hormones in his sample? Mosley gave testimony that he didnt know what the substance was that he took. It was implied that it was hormones. If that was proof enough Mosley would have been more than indicted for the Balco scandal.

And Atlas is a ****ing idiot. The guys irrelavent. He's whole self righteous act is so ****ing tiresome.

    yes
I stated before and after the Margarito fight that I was convinced he was back on steroids. First his wife leaves him right before a big fight. She was also his manager so she lost out on some big $. And there was no signs of marital issues and no stories surfaced afterward. And 2 -his performance was "back to the old". (just like Hopkins) And we know that his best wins came while using steroids.

    Look at the Floyd fight.
He tired in what the 3rd round? Now watch he Margarito fight. Big difference.

I wouldn't discount it. And I wouldn't discount the blood testing also being a factor. Or maybe it an effect of the long layoff he had combined with age. He gassed out unusually quick against Floyd.

It's not impossible, but I don't think he'd risk getting caught again after his career being called into question with the ugly cloud of foul play staining his legacy. I think that as his career started to dip, he had a resurgence with Nazim. Not only physically, but technically. His guard was better, his jab was better, he was throwing more combinations instead of loading up on his right hand, he was slipping more instead of just trying to skid backward...it's not impossible to imagine that Nazim's conditioning program and leadership allowed Shane to get a new kick start towards the end of his run.

The thing is Floyd didn't outslick and outbox Shane with a superior skill-set or ring iq, he walked him down with stiff unanswered1-2's as he planned to.

I would attribute the combining factors of old age, a long layoff, and a thrown off mixture of two training camps against a prime, fast, elite fighter much more likely to gassing after the second round than a lack of performance enhancing drugs. I just don't see the risk being worth it in Shane's eyes and can't imagine why it's so hard to believe new training regiments helped him sharpen his physical and technical talents, especially after talk concerning his father's possibly negative influence by this time.

I don't believe it. I doubt Mosley would cheat again after getting caught the first time.

Mosley might have been affected with all the random drug tests. I don't think he has been taking anything since he was caught
