    Mike Tyson's a pony.

Every girl wants to ride a pony growing up. But some of the girls who get their wish fulfilled, regret riding the pony. They wish they never rode the Pony, so they try to convince everyone they never intended to ride the pony, that the pony forced them onto it's back.

That's why you can't bring a pony to some countries.

I think he has a point to be honest and I'm a big Tyson fan. It might be a bit extreme but there are certain things Tyson doesnt face. In his book he admits to some terrible stuff but then wont admit other things, that you know could be true, he shields that horrible stuff with something bad but not quite as bad. he will admit he was an animal in biting holyfield but will not admit holy bested him, he doesnt face that, he would rather be seen as the animal. so I kind of see what atlas is saying, in the way that tyson will give you something but hold back in other areas, kind of glossing over it. in some small way that is being a phoney but I guess we all do it.

Its TRUE. Tyson is a phoney.
    Even as a fighter.
    Holifield proved it.

    Nah.

Most of these auto biographies contain a lot of distortions to make the content more consummer-friendly.

You always use professional writters to this effect ( in this case, their contribution has surely been above average...) :yep

    Ali did it too.

Atlas was the best trainer to come out of there, they kicked him out because he wouldnt take the bull**** that tyson would dish out, the others would. Atlas let mike no real quick that doesnt matter hoo big and strong you are, **** with atlas and u may end up in a hole in the ground.

If they kept teddy around tyson would been more grounded and maybe wouldve avoided some of his troubles.

Teddy was a great coach for a guy so young and he was a street guy too.

People like to give rooney credit cause he was left with the monster mike, but rooney was not a good trainer just a drunk, hes still drunk today I believe.

Atlas brought of all people mike moorer to the HW title and is a top broadcaster today. His opinions are great his predictions are wrong , but he has no issue getting up in a commissioner nor judges face and letting them have it.

Dont hate atlas just cause you like mike, you can do both :)

He's got beef with Mike that he's never let go. Personally I think the guy should bury the hatchet. Let Mike be and move on. He's go his own thing and Mike has his.....Both contributed something to the sport.....Mike however was at one point the baddest man on the planet and Teddy....well.....Teddy is the voice of ESPN's Friday Night Fights. That's respectable too.

Why hold onto that beef? are you kidding me? I'm assuming you know what Tyson did? If it were me, I would have shot Tyson. Teddy showed restraint.

brought moorer to the heavyweight title? :rofl
moorer was ALREADY 32-0 with 30 knockouts when teddy "guided him".
emanuel steward took him from an amateur to world champion.
teddy atlas is so over rated as a trainer is beyond belief :-(
