You're not bringing a former Football player into Boxing well into his 20s and making him a Heavyweight champion of the world. Not going to happen.

Still, they are doing good work and I wish Michael Moorer and Oliver McCall luck.

    Clearly not for everyone.

Boxing people like Michael Moorer are convinced they'll find a Heavyweight champion in the future.

Wishful thinking considering he is there trainer and would get paid.

Ask him that same question 15 years ago while holding the HW belt and im sure his answer would be vastly different.

Teddy was on point. Also Teddy and Brian Kenny espoused and validated what many like myself have been saying for years: a great and naturally gifted American heavyweight is probably playing in the NFL and the NBA.

You can't make him HW champion, but you might get a pretty decent competitor. At this point the Klits have HW boxing so boring that it isn't even fun to see lifelong boxers take them on.

I am a big fan of pure boxing, but when you dominate a guy by as much as they do in physical attributes it just gets a bit silly looking.

James Toney was a football player too. He got out of football because he got into it with Deon Sanders at college. I think the fact that he was in the same vicinity of Neon Deon speaks to the level of commitment that Toney had to Football.

I thought he was a bodygaurd for some drug dealers? Think he was always a boxer. Nate Campbell came into boxing very late i read.

I wonder what Big Baby Glenn Davis' wingspan is? He's 6'7, got some blubber but he's freakishly strong, got decent hops, is freakishly fast for his weight...

there's a guy who posts on this board, I think his name is youngchamp93 or something. He trains with Roger Mayweather and is a former college footbal player. But he's like 20

    if I'm remembering correctly.
