True. I was very impressed that Marquez was able to defend himself from getting KOd. Its clear that if Mayweather got sloppy in there Marquez could land punches.

Its because marquez is a bad stylistic match up and pac wont have any size and weight advantages on fight night, I dont think marquez handles pacquiao as well as he did at 130 though, but I dont expect him to get blown away either.
I consider Ortiz a tough match up for floyd even if im in the minority on that one. I expect them both to win though.

Ortiz is definitely the tougher fight. No one can say Marquez is. Specially at 144 where they know Marquez looked bad at vs Floyd.

Ortiz will not fade, unlike Zab and Oscar.

For a WW fighter, Ortiz is the tougher fight, assuming he can win won round he will have faired better than JMM did against PBF. Not dissing JMM, but it's just the reality, I have nothing but respect for JMM but he's not a WW fighter. Also I respect Ortiz, the kids always been good, and people point to the Maidana fight as the end all be all of Ortiz, he's proved to this point that it's not.

that's what I've been saying too. And even in the Berto fight, Ortiz was in trouble on multiple occasions too.

So I don't see how all of a sudden he's this new and improve fighter. Maybe his confident is up somewhat after that win but he's still the same guy that drew with Peterson one fight before.

If Ortiz stepped into the ring with animal like Pac he would be out cold. Literally within a couple rounds.

Berto vs Peterson H2H has no bearing on this discussion at all. The point is that when Peterson boxed Ortiz he made him look terrible but now he's supposed to be able to pull off the upset against Floyd? Please...
