Good news Teddy Atlas has his very own podcast it is called "The Fight" with Teddy Atlas. The first episode is available now. I know he is not everyone's cup of tea but I am looking forward to listening to it as I listen to a lot of boxing podcasts. I enjoyed the Joe Rogan episode with Teddy he has good insight and doesn't pull any punches.
This should definitely happen. Those 2 have 30 years of beef to work out and a podcast setting would be perfect for it. That'll get it some sponsors fast.
I fully understand why some have such a critical view of teddy but he's a man of conviction who clearly loves this sport. He's incredibly knowledgeable and offers a unique insight into every facet of boxing in and out of the ring. He's a bit of a psychotic lunatic, but that just makes him even more suited to be a voice for a violent sport rife with scandal, corruption, and unsavory characters.
Ha! Teddy, who claims to not even know what the internet is. That guy, he is such a BSer. Claims his daughter does everything for him when it comes to anything computer related. Guess he got some assistance. The reality is Teddy loves to hear Teddy talk. No one is more impressed with Teddy than Teddy. He'll get some diehards listening but not much beyond that. Maybe some people who like to watch train wrecks. Frankly, I am thrilled I don't have to listen to him anymore. Thank you, Lord. Hallelujah!
Nah can't do it.. I don't think I can handle it. I can imagine the first 5 minutes being like this.. "Welcome to the podcast, Making a podcast is like making a cake, I'm the baker, I take all the ingredients for the cake, I mix them, i prepare them, I heat the oven, I bake the cake, I serve the cake but not everybody will like or enjoy the cake, people have different tastes and different ideas on what a cake should be and that's fine, we all have different tastes and different ideas.. But what you can't do is just not make the cake because some people will not like it, you can't live with the fear of rejection, you have to overcome that fear and you have to cater for the people who will enjoy the cake and that's where you should have your focus, on the people who will enjoy it.. Listen, there is corruption in cake making, some people go out and buy a ready made cake, it happens and it's wrong, we have to ask where are the commissioners? Where are they? The baker works hard and then somebody comes along steals their thunder with a Red Velvet cake bought from a professional chef, it's cheating, that's right I said it, I don't care, it's cheating.. NO NO NO, listen to me, listen to me.. We have to come together as bakers and take a stand but that won't happen because money talks, it's all about the money, people don't care about a bakers dreams, hard work, ambition or future, it's all about money and it's immoral.. Anyway welcome to the podcast.."
