That’s fairly spot on, and why I intend to check it out. I love watching train wrecks, and this sounds like it has a lot of potential to be one
The third part (discussing Tyson Fury ESPN/Top Rank signing; interview with Vasyl Lomachenko and Egis Klimas, etc.): https://player.fm/series/the-fight-...r-egis-klimas-the-fight-with-teddy-atlas-ep-3
Teddy Atlas is one of the few people in boxing I absolutely admire and respect. And he's usually pretty spot on with his predictions too. Teddy is the man
I've tried listening to them but he's too long winded & goes off on too many philosophical tangents etc lol... A lot of hot air & not enough current boxing talk in it IMO
I don't care what anyone says or thinks, but I like Teddy, I like his takes, his analysis, like someone else said -- his conviction. I was just listening to the Joe Roagn Podcast with Teddy, and Teddy bringing up Bobby Chacon, in regards to him being a warrior and in so many wars. Not many casuals will even know who Booby was. I think he literally and actually teared up for a second after talking about Bobby and the sacrifices he made in the ring and how he was a TOUGH MF'er. Teddy always gonna be good by me.
Yes, that was an excellent podcast. I would say anyone should listen to that first and only then return to "The Fight with TA". In fact, that interview (more like a monologue ) gave birth to this podcast, as far as I understand! After it had aired, Teddy received a lot of positive comments and they decided to create his own podcast.
