The one and only Teddy Atlas picks Hasim Rahman to upset Klitschko tomorrow. Let's wait and and see if Atlas can start a nice winning streak after getting Pacquiao/De La Hoya right.
"In a recent interview, Atlas revealed his thoughts about the upcoming heavyweight fight: 'Klitschko could be getting a bit too comfortable and seeing that Rahman is a replacement, maybe just maybe, Klitschko isn't taking this fight seriously. It only takes one punch to change a fight and we all know that Rahman has that one punch. This could be a case in which Klitschko acts like he's in the kitchen looking for some bacon....only there ain't no bacon, only pastrami, how can he win this fight with only pastrami?'
Atlas was right about Pacquiao DLH, but then he usually picks about one fight a year correctly, so Im gonna bet that Wlad knocks Rahman the **** out. He picked Mayweather to beat Hatton. That was the last time I remember him being right about a fight.
I can't remember the last time that Atlas did not pick against Wladimir Klitschko. Losing is almost inevitable in boxing... and he is playing the card of wanting to be the guy who "predicted" that it was going to happen. I actually think that Atlas has some serious dislike for Steward, and wants to see Steward's star go down.
Geez. You know Rahman does sometimes show up when not expected. But Teddy is really crazy here. Wladimir hasn't taken any real chances since the Brewster fight. Rahman is gonna have to press to make anything happen. I don't think he's in the shape to do it.
