The ref was also asking if Khan was ok. Khans was saying no. Of course the ref will ask if he wants to continue.
Ref should have gave him space and been saying take your time, you have a full five minutes. Asking someone who got hit low if they want to end the fight is stupid and filled with agenda, they need time to recover. Ref was badgering him because he was the B-side, away fighter, we know this sport. Crawford wouldn't have been pressured like that, indeed Khan would've been at risk of DQ if he threw low on TC and considered a villain.
It's strange that they didn't take the full 5 mins, then say no, cannot continue. Could have legit had it declared a DQ. Guess nobody was thinking straight in Khan's team.
I’ve competed and trainined in MMA and Muay Thai.... Khan shat himself and quit. I’ve had protective cups split by knees before and been on all fours gasping from the pain in my nads. Khan took the easy route out and knows it
Khan a shot old fighter? - he is only 9 months older than Bud. Shows you are a dumbo who has zero idea about anything lol.
Actually, you're the idiot. You sound a real boxing novice actually. If you knew anything about the sport, which it sounds like you dont, you'd know that fighters peak and decline at different times, due to mileage, damage, decline in athleticism, ect. The fact that they're the same age means nothing, you brain dead simp. Khan is an OLD 31 and Crawford is still in his prime at 31. Khan peaked at 23-24, and even back then, most of us knew he wouldn't age well, because he relied solely on his speed and athleticism, and had no skill or brains to compensate for the loss of his athleticism. So yes, that poster was correct- Khan IS an old fighter. The only dumbo is you. Go ban yourself and follow another sport, or learn more about this one, which judging by your post, might require more time than learning a new sport.
I don't think he has no Heart as a fighter. I think he has no heart now. But no one with no heart would get Pasted by Maidana and Garcia and keep getting back up. A fair few fighters have gotten older and quit. Tyson and Liston for examples
Amir essentially quit vs Crawford. He took a low blow, but it didn't land right between the legs. It looked more high and to the right side on the top of the upper thigh where it meets the hip. He felt it and it likely left him in discomfort, but he had up to 5 minutes to rest. He ended it quickly. He was losing and wanted a way out , imo, so it suggests to me his heart isn't fully into winning as it should be. If he's like that, it's time for Khan to retire. In the bigger picture, it was another unsatisfactory ending to a world title fight.
