So Floyd Mayweather Jr got $41.5 mil on fight night, and Canelo got $5 mil on fight night? Is that right?
Calm down. Im talking about from a legal standpoint. Obviously, regardless of her motives shes poison to the sport. The fact that she was allowed to judge this fight shows obvious corruption whether or not she was incompetent or just doesnt know how to score a fight.
Shadow, In all seriousness, your opinion on this matter has completely changed my point of view, not on the fight, or the cards, but on you. I think that, moving forward, I will have to disregard a vast majority of what you say. Your opinion on this is so baseless and silly, that I just can't take you seriously from now on. That's a real bummer. -Jorge!
Be specific. What's silly is the catchweight, and the press scoring and the people who said Mayweather won every round. I think you are mis-interpreting what I am saying. I thought the official cards were accurate and reasonable, I thought Floyd won the fight, but most of the rounds were close and back and forth. What is so baseless about that?
That god-forsaken 114-114 card was more than enough basis for the aforementioned assumption thrown at CJ "crooked" Ross. Ross blatantly showed the whole world that she doesnt give a flying f*ck about what anybody would think about her judging, as long as she still gets those under the table deals through,. She's the one showing unproffessional and inappropriate behavior in terms of boxing etiquette...... I applaude Teddy Atlas for speaking out about what the entire world already knows about....:happy
Why does Teddy need to apologize? If anybody needs to make a public statement, it's CJ Ross for that ridiculous scorecard she came up with! Does she just not know what she's looking at when she judges boxing or did somebody pay her to score it that way? Or was she just scoring for the crowd favorite? Either way, 114-114 is absolutely ******ed!
Shadow: My issue with what you are saying is that those rounds were not close back-and-forth rounds. Floyd boxed his ears off, and coming to a draw or even giving Canelo 4 rounds is absurd. I couldn't give him more the 2, but I will abide 3 and 4 from less objective/insightful/experienced viewers. Floyd busted Saul up, and to even suggest that the travesty of a card that Ross submitted is even remotely objective is complete bull****. In my opinion, you are either trolling, or incapable to of scoring this fight, and by extension, any fight, correctly. Like I said earlier, not a big problem, I will just place you in the "nonsense poster" pile and go on with my life. It just sucks that you are fine with making your opinion completely worthless just because you want to rock the boat. I am fine with you scoring this fight closer based on what you like from a fighter judging is a subjective thing, but considering an even fight as a justifiable outcome is sheer nonsense at its highest level. Just because you CAN hide behind the subjectivity of judging doesn't mean that your subjective opinion is freed from potential criticism and subsequent disregard. Do what you want, but your opinion, from my perspective, is pretty much worthless. Your Pal, Jorge!
Atlas is on point. Bummer that you DKSAB, yet continue to spread falsehoods like rotten mayonnaise on your sadness sandwich so it will taste better as you chew it.
MORE people need to ridicule this sorry excuse for a judge. Magnify this to the greatest extent possible and shame the "sport" into action. She is either incompetent or corrupt, or both. I hope every TV commentator calls her a crook. After the Manny-Bradley travesty, she shouldn't be anywhere near a boxing venue. We also need to know why she was judging this fight. Who decided she would be a good selection? Justify that to the paying fans. It's a shame that the Manny-Bradley anger subsided and no corrective actions happened. Seize this moment.
not reading all the comments on 7 pages, but you have to understand the odds of the banker......it was a 3/1 of FMJ winning and by choosing a define bet like a UD it was a 4/1 i think or 4.5/1..i forgot a MD win or KO win lines, but everybody or a high number of people place on UD win for fmj since everyone know he will outbox canelo to the decision...now that MD just screwed everyone on the betting lines...now tell me whats wrong with that picture?? nobody in their rightful mind would think canelo would be on par with FMJ on boxing and draw to a MD win.
Yeah, that is true. Teddy knows more about boxing than all of us on here combined. So we should all listen to what he says.
I think we should just continue to let the TS flail and drool and **** all over himself publicly. It's pretty amusing. At this point he's proven beyond a doubt to be as incompetent as CJ Ross.
Because she's so atrocious that there will be no comeback. Good. I'm glad he said it. The guy is practically a one-man-band when it comes to mainstream resistance to the incompetence and corruption in boxing.
Listen man you're not going to persuade anyone on this forum on your baseless comments which hold zero merit to them. 86 members of the pressrow such as the Ring magazine, Yahoo, the NY Times had Mayweather winning that fight. 86-0 believed Mayweather won that fight. The average score tally from those 86 members was 119-109. The closest anyone scored it was Doug Fischer who had it a 3 point Mayweather win. What exactly are you trying to defend or prove by staying endlessly in this thread and just spewing a bunch of nonsense? You're trying to say all 86 pressrow members are completely wrong and you have some kind of incredible boxing insight that no one else has except CJ Ross? No boxer that was at the fight had Canelo winning more than 2-3 rounds at most. You know more than professional boxers do about the fight game?? Save your time, breath, and more importantly the development of carpal tunnel and don't bother responding to my post. Just read it and recognize you're in the wrong and in the absolute minority. By "minority," I mean you and CJ Ross. Canelo on my scorecard only won 2 rounds. There's absolutely nothing you can say that will prove to anyone on this forum that the fight was close at all. The statistics speak for themselves buddy, FLoyd connected with 2 x's more powershots than Canelo did his JABS. I could go on and on to prove my point, but there's no reason to. You obviously have some kind of agenda and an obvious bias disposition that NO ONE else shares. I'll make sure to look out for your future posts and disregard them as much as I have every moronic post that you've made in this thread. Shame on you.
