Teddy Atlas: "Samuel Peter not looking good in training"

He's unofficially about 35 years old now, its hardly a surprise.

 

Wait and see how bad he'll actually look in the ring with Chambers who's a C+ level fighter.

Samuel Peter was DESTROYED by Dr.Eisenfaust.
Vitilli took everything from him, his heart and spirit, he absolutely plundered Sam Peter.

Not that Peter was ever a good boxer, but he'll fall off the radar before 2010.

 

but peter has experience at world level, he has fought both klitschkos, toney, maskaev. chambers only fought guinn, brock and povetkin. this should give peter some kind of advantage though it won't help him that much if he isn't in shape.

 

The only thing Peter has going for him in this fight is Buddy McGirt in the opposite corner.

It's funny how alot of people on here were touting Peter's boxing skills after the Toney fight.

I never saw it.

 

Just being his usual self it seems, this is why Peter isn't going anywhere. Maybe the loss to Vitali might have killed whatever motivation he had, not that he had any before anyway.

 

He showed some very good boxing ability against Toney, especially in the rematch.

When has Sam Peter ever looked good?

One night against a 240 pound middleweight?

 

I was told by a trainer that trains one of Ivalo Gostoyev or however you spell it other fighters that Sam Peter does not want to be a fighter anymore and that Duva is basically making him fight. I fully expect to see Peter at a career high weight for the Chambers fight.

 

Chambers has a weak chin. Plus he does like to show up chubby. Peter by KO.

 

Chambers Chin is fine. He took some good shots against Povetkin and handled them well.

Peter has only KOed one decent fighter in his whole career his power is way overrated.
