Teddy Atlas says Vitali vs. Shannon Briggs is possible....

Briggs has a helleva punchers chance in this fight. If Briggs come in under 250 then he can be very intresting.

 

Come now, we all know Teddy and Vitaly are pretty close.... Vitaly just wanted to give his good friend Teddy a scoop to air. What a nice guy.

 

I won't believe it is official until Booth announces it.

 

if the fight happens, all vitali has to do is survive he first round. and then briggs would be on the recieving end of a one sided thrashing. sheesh, this is the heavyweight division ladies and gentlemen!

 

This fight, if it happens, is an insult to us fans and to the idea of actually earning title shots. Theres no way VK should be facing a bum like Briggs following a gimme like Sosnowski, while theres much more worthier opponents available and hungry.

 

Damn, beat the hell out of Ruben Studdard and get a title shot! Briggs is truly living a charmed life.

Last we knew Vitaly was in Russia personally trying to talk Valuev into accepting a fight. Haye won't return phone calls.....

 

Heard of Vitali thinking about Valouev. At one time Vitali was considering Solis, but I haven't heard anything lately. Vitali Vs. Solis would be good because Solis stopped Haye in the amateurs.

I don't think there is anyway that Vitali or Vlad can get Haye into a ring.

 

Not a bad move. Sauerland is involved with Valuev so this fight may not happen.

Vitali vs. Briggs can fill the Madison Square Garden. So why not? It make sence to me.

 

Interesting fight for what it's worth. Would rather see other fights with Vitali tho.
