Most of the people that will buy this fight , because of Oscar's name and that guy that beat Oscar that was on dancing with the stars and was on WWE..
there's your 78% right there ,, there fan of oscar or floyd not fan of the sport , these individuals will never watch another boxing fight before or after this fight .

Just like when tyson was at his peak in the 80s many watch boxing simply because of tyson , when he fell off so did the fan base ..Ask yourself this how many people would purchase a mike tyson fight today right now ? and would you call those individuals, fans of tyson or educated boxing fans?

If think that boxing Fans make up more then 2% of sport watchers then ask yourself, why is that Boxing has taken a back seat to virtually every sport network wise , do you really think if Boxing had a stronger network base it would be so low in the network rating right now ? and why is a guy named Kimbo , is just as popular if not more popular then boxing top stars , and why NBC willing to strike a deal with excite to show kimbos fights as well as other mma fight on public network television .. Ill tell you why "Huge Fan base" something boxing hasn't seen since the 80's ,, yesterday was suppose to be friday night fights but instead I saw the Utah jazz Vs the LA lakers ..
